I've got stuff stashed in my son's wardrobe (unknown to him) under a shelving unit & various other places around the flat.

This made me smile, as my Mum was a young adult during WWII and had a 'reputation' for squirrelling things away. When she died, my sister and I helped Dad go through his house to tidy and move on and we found numerous bags of brown sugar - it became a running joke which brought some lovely smiles and laughter at such a sad time - 'oh look, another bag of sugar!' I'm sure she knew what would happen and would have loved the joke. Please forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

Phil Vickery's baked sandwich naan recipe is both good and flexible: eg, it works very well with tinned sardines or pilchards instead of the bacon (tho' you might be better off skimping on wet items such as the tomato); it's also very good with charred aubergine slices, garlic and tomato.
Egg tortilla casserole can work well with naan (or left over pita) if you cut it into appropriately sized pieces and keep an eye on it while toasting in the oven or even on the stovetop.August grocery challenge: £8.65/£300

I've run out of space in the kitchen! All of my cupboards are well and truly full. Got my order today, complete with lucky box which had an interesting selection in (12pack of crisps, tins of ravioli, two pots of moisturiser, some little milk pots and some biscuits) but now the kitchen and bathroom both look like a supermarket.0

does anyone know where I could find out the calorie content of the 'ration pack' foods - the Tex Mex soup in particular.
