I'm always pleased to see DPD as the courier, and wish Approved Food could allow customers to choose, as the alternative, Citylink, have an inflexible 'between 7am and 5pm' delivery schedule.
And RM for us is a joke. Before Christmas we had a red card while both of us were at home. I had to pay to get it re-delivered to a local PO. When I emailed CS I expected a 'you must be mistaken madam' reply, but instead was told that it's just one of those things that happen, but that it does not meet the high standards they aim for. You reckon?0 -
I'm another one that is really pleased when I see that DPD is delivering my order.
A text first thing to say if okay to deliver within an hour slot that day, being able to track where in the town he is and watch the number of deliveries before us go down. Excellent service for us!AUGUST GROCERY CHALLENGE £115.93/ £250

very happy to see my latest order is going to be delivered by DPD
Just need to find some cupboard space to put it all0 -
My first order arrived about 5-10 minutes ago. It came via CityLink, who I've had little experience with, on the day expected - the guy had a kid in school uniform with him which was a bit unorthodox, but not a problem.
I've just finished going through it, checking it's all there, and choosing a few items at random to spot-check the best before dates. Everything is in perfect order - nothing missing, quantities correct, dates as advertised, no damage.
Even better, my Christmas dining table (needs to go back outside, job for the husband!) now looks like this:
I had a few non-chocolate items too (honest!) - but they're put away. Sadly my chocolate spot isn't big enough for all this. I'll just have to crack on with eating it. Shame...!
I'm happy - will definitely be back to order some more when this lot is gone. I think it'd be perfect for bulk-buying for parties if you don't want to bulk-buy for yourself.Cashback / Freebie Sites I Use:

Do you have any idea what the intention is with this purchase? How many people will be eating from it, over what kind of time span?
No?
Then how can you make informed conclusions as to whether it is or isn't appropriate?
Oh, wait. You can't.
Kindly take your ill-informed judgements elsewhere.Cashback / Freebie Sites I Use:

For whom? One person, one sitting? Absolutely. A party of 50? More than is needed, sure. A party of 100? About right. A party of 500? Not even close.Cashback / Freebie Sites I Use:

Another good delivery today for me.
Not sure what I am going to do with the plastic silicone baby feeding teets that where in the lucky box, but as it also contained a big tin of Heinz Beans, a few packets of rice , noodles, chocolate bars, and other bits and pieces , it was well worth the 1p0 -
I ordered two days ago, because they had Heinz Tomato soup 6 tins for a £1. Added some more things with my daughter, waiting for it to arrive now. Never had a problem with Approved Foods.I Believe in saving money!!!:T
