Just placed my first order with AF, seems like this thread is empty now though - is anyone else still buying from them?

Looking forward to my order coming, stocked up on quite a few things!

I tend to place one order a month (payday) otherwise I'd be too tempted by all the bargains and the garage would be even fuller than it is now.......

Welcome to AF, miss_emmajane. Yes, it has gone quiet on here, but not in our warehouse. We've taken over half a million orders - not all of them this week, though.:)

i really wish approved foods would do some postage deals rather than first order only ie free after 4 orders so 5th order post free or 1/2price postage i think people would re-order a lot more i would

I waited in all day on Friday as my order was due to arrive (7.30am-5.30pm) but nothing arrived

I checked the system and it said it had been returned as an 'unsuccessful delivery attempt' but no-one had attempted to deliver it!! I had no knock on the door and no missed delivery slip.

I contacted Citilink and they were very unhelpful just saying that I'll probably get it on Monday (today) so another day of waiting in for parcel.

I've raised a ticket with Approved Food but not had a reply yet.

Anyone else had delivery problems? I've ordered from AF before and not experienced this before.:(

I ordered from AF once, the courier was a nightmare, he rang me to say he was by a pub nearby and said if I wanted my goods to go down there (almost a 10 minute walk), and meet him there. I went there, he went said he couldn't drive to where I lived as in a hurry, so I didn't stand my ground, took my order and got my husband to drive round almost 30 minutes later when he got home from work.

Needless to say I've not bothered to order since which was a real shame as the goods were well packed and in good condition.
