  • Everything i've had from there, except the rice noodles (not selling them at the mo) have been good :)
What rice noodes were they - i got some quite a while back and could not seem to cook them properly - hard in middle, soggy outside, thought it was me. Yes i too find most things good. The lucky boxes can be good value, but are full of junk food mainly, though i do buy them when on.

They were bluedragon or Amoy rice noodles

We've had awful noodles, and recently pumpkin-shaped biscuits were mouldy. Rather put me off, but pretty much everything else has been OK. I've had bad luck with lucky boxes though, cheap utter junk. Even for £1 I'd not order again, I'm obviously just not lucky.

Ordered same pumpkin biscuits, were dated 2011 but the mould isn't on all and they taste ok (albeit sweet!).

Tempted to give some to trick or treaters though :p

I always email them if I receive anything mouldy or broken and they add credit to next order.

Hi, yes i think most of us on here do use AF and no that is not a bargain in my opinion, its a bit swings and roundabouts and i remember years ago getting boxes of crisps for 1p, lots of things like that, but now, its got some competition from £1 stores in my opinion, but i still get some bargains.
Kizzie - yes i think they are the ones i bought, i still have loads of packs left, hidden in the pantry.

I should have said I did email and they did credit - I asked for a refund instead as I don't agree with their credit system. However, some of these biscuits were really obviously mouldy, it would have been impossible not to notice as they were being packed loose. So I was rather unimpressed and I haven't ordered since.
