don't mind waiting, but they haven't even said what day yet

not sure I like this, the 1 hour slot was one of AF's bonuses

Very disappointed that approved food are now using xdp delivery. It realistically makes it very difficult for me to order from them as I used to be able to nip out of work for an hour when DPD texted with a delivery time. This time round I didn't even get an email saying the order had been dispatched.

Alot of people are saying the same thing, it's a shame as it was the best bit about them that nobody else seemed to do.

I was sent a tracking link which was unworkable, after waiting 3 days for my delivery ,decided to call their office yesterday and was assured that my order would be delivered sometime before 6 pm.
It never arrived.
If they do not improve their delivery service this will be my last order with them. Very disappointing.

Have they totally changed over to this new delivery service no matter what area you live in? How can you order food without knowing which day it will arrive? It weighs a ton and neighbours won't be so happy to hold that for you like a litte light parcel.

I'll wait and see if they change back before placing anymore orders. You reliably need to know which day its arriving at the very least.

I was pleased with my last order and was thinking of ordering more regularly again but this has altered things.

Got a card through yesterday saying please phone us to arrange re-delivery as you weren't in, phoned them today and they said "oh it's out for delivery it'll be late afternoon". Doesn't seem very organised to me, I think my addiction to Approved Food may be short lived.

What would you rather they say - can you stay in tomorrow aswell, we'll deliver it then.

Well I'm not in today either! If I know what day it's coming, I can arrange accordingly. Which is what used to happen with DPD. Oh well, it wastes the delivery company's time, not mine.

Thats the same with me. And if the neighbour doesn't accept, they send it to the sorting office... i don't drive and i can't take a 20 stone (lol) box on the bus"!

My latest delivery is due to arrive tomorrow from DPD , so they havent fully changed to a different courier.
