Morning Froggy,
Many congratulations to your mum. That's brilliant.
Best of luck with the weight in! I've been scared to venture back to the wii fit over the last couple of weeks as I know I've put on a good bit of weight in the last couple of months. All these celebratory dinners take their toll!! I'm hopeful that I'm still in the 23 range on the BMI thingy but I seriously doubt it at the moment.
Cheers,
Billy
Come on Billy!! Back on the treadmill!!
Have you got a gym planned in your new castle??
My BMI says 29.5 which I really doubt... That BMI thing is wrong if you are not normal standard size.. I am 6ft5 and 18 stone (hopefully less tomorrow at the weigh in!) and apparently I am border line obese??? To be a healthy BMI I would have to be 11 stones, I would look gaunt and sick!!
Cheers

You know, we haven't and purposefully so as we turned one of the spare rooms in the squalor into a gym and still didn't use that! Our intended neighbours are planning on a cinema room (to somewhat compliment my pub / games room - I've seen a couple of our favourite Vegas video slots for sale recently!!) which will likely double as the fanciest wii fit / kinect / move place going! I am intending joining the local gym (mainly for the free access to the snooker table) as being there every day will get me into the mindset of jumping on the treadmill or rowing machine for 30 minutes. It's been the sweets that have undone me recently so I've cut them all out and I'm back to my daily ration of chocolate - currently four squares of galaxy caramel!
You get away with the BMI then! I was 28.64 when I kicked off my diet a couple of years back and I've no excuse as I'm only 6 foot nothing! It keeps telling me to get down to 11 stone but anything around the 12 stone mark is grand for me. I worry that I'm easily a stone over that at the moment! I'll get out for a bit of a walk at lunchtime to shift a calorie or two...
Cheers so,

Morning all! :j
First weigh in at SW last night, and it could not have gone any better... I lost 8lbs in the last week, taking me from 18 stones to 17st 6lbs and taking my BMI down a point too!!
I upped the exercise:a lot of walking, up the stairs at work (the equivalent of at least 17 floors a day), wii fit, and I still have table tennis every week too! The food is fab, we just have to be super organised!
Have a great day everybody!

well done froggy!!
shows what you can do when you put your mind to it ! I must take a leaf out of your book and get back on the exercise ... probably shockingly unfit at the mo!0 -
Well done Froggy G that's superb :j:j:j:j:jA positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Easy as all that then! That's a great start Froggy. I'm dreading my first weigh in on Monday although I'm sure my clothes feel looser than they did at the start of the week! I've put an end to all these business lunches. Isn't it illegal to not get dessert when someone else is paying!?

Sure you'll be fine on Monday - Let me know how it goes.. Are you also posting on the Weigh loss thread? Am two notches up on my belt, and my trousers keep falling down - must be a good sign
Agree with you, I would always accept a dessert, especially if I am not the one paying!!:D

We've already established that you don't know what a dessert is - some chef!! Trousers falling down due to weight loss is a great sign as well as a brilliant excuse in court when it invariably comes to it.
I was having a good go at the weight loss challenge thread previously so I'll get back into that with whatever shameful figure the wii fit throws at me on Monday.
Cheers,
