    Hey Froggy
well done on the wt loss thats great!!
sorry to hear work is such a miserable environment ... I can relate to that... have you got a union at all you could speak with ? its horrible to work somewhere where bullying tactics and people coing down on you to cover thier own ars*s is the norm ... and sometimes too its just not worth it for the impact it has on your life!
what are the chances for other jobs coming up? I know some fields it is easier than others in the times we are in

and as Cath rightly says once MF we can pick where we work and what we will put up with! :rotfl:

    Hey TYO :p

No union here, the work I am in tends to have a very high staff turnover.. I did get used to that kind of environment, but sometimes when you are over-tired & stressed, it just tips you over the edge...
Am constantly looking for a new job, but these are few & far between, and I am not qualified so it a that bit harder..

Well done on getting your OH on board! :p

    Cheers

Hi Froggy, sorry to hear work is so bad.

It might be a good idea for you to make detailed notes of what's happening for a worse case situation. Hopefully though things will calm down

    Hello!

have kept notes, but things have calmed down since... Thanks

    or grow to 7ft 10in ???? that's my plan.

    Rosie

Hope I won't have to grow again! 6ft 5 is more than enough, diet & SW are having the desired effect, so will continue with that before I search the internet on "how to grow a foot and a half in 24 hours (with non lasting damage)"!

Oh Froggy, that's SO not like you :(. Hope it resolves itself soon. I too have had a bad week at work with a lot of the staff who report to my staff acting like truculent teenagers. !!!!!!!! to the lot of them :rotfl:

    Hi GG :j

    Thanks for your message...:p
My staff is ok, I can't fault them, its just my manager and other supervisors that are doing my head in! My manager has since apologised, but it does not seem to make the situation much easier..
I am still on the look out for a new jobs but times are hard and places are few and far between, and wages are not waht they used to be, so it is a very difficult choice to make...

I got paid today! Woohoo :j and OH is getting paid next week (wage, bonus & back pay) so our accounts should look good...
Its OH birthday today, so we will have to celebrate this tonight, she is spending the day at home in the warmth with Elvis, while I am freezing myself here in the office...

I phoned Northern Rock last Saturday to get updated figures for the mortgage, so will update my signature when I have a spare minute at home...

Bring on 4.30 so i can go home... :T

    Cheers

Well done Froggy, that's great :j
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

Thanks Jellie!! With a bit of luck I might even manage to hit 1.5 stone this week, so that would be another prize! :j

    Hi Froggy,

You're going great guns. Many congratulations. Give me a shout if you ever need a bit of advice on how to deal with that type of situation at work - that's my game.

    Cheers,
