OMG! That is amazing Froggy!

Do you put your success down to your own will power (i.e. would've lost that without Slimming World) or to Slimming World? And if the latter to their diet plan or just the whole ritual of standing on scales in front of a group?

I need to lose weight in the new year (I have given up for this one - I go to New York in 10 days - home of supersize portions!). Don't know anyone who has done weightwatchers/slimming world etc.

Sorry to hear work has been rubbish recently - but you seem a positive type so it will only spur you on to be MF asap and thus master of your own destiny!

Success is partly down to will power (walking past 9 takeaways places every night without stopping for a bag of chips or else is not easy!! :eek:).. I would have probably not lost as much without Slimming World..It keeps me focused on the task ahead, and the fact that I have to go on the scales every week is kind of a challenge..The diet plan is great, I can eat loads, and I have not changed my habits that much: still having pasta, jacket potato, salads, beef stew, curries.. They are homemade (much tastier & cheaper).. I would recommend SW, they are a nice bunch of people, and I always have a laugh when I go there on Thursdays night..:rotfl:

Thanks for the encouragement re work..Am taking it one day at a time, and we'll see how we get on.. Am just putting my head down, pick up my pay check at the end of each month, and overpay my mortgage as much as I can and as quickly as possible, so I don't have to come back here!!

Don't worry Jellie, there's still a lot of me, I started at 18 stones, and I am now down to 16st 12.5lbs..

You won't miss me in a crowd, am usually one of the tallest one :rotfl:

I'm feeling a bit stir crazy as have been feeling unwell and snow is bad! Don't want to have to try and drive in while conditions so wretched.

Weight loss still going well, have weigh in tomorrow night.. Will let u know the results...
Hope you get better soon.. I don't mind driving in these snowy conditions, actually I quite enjoy it (yes I know I am a freak!!) OH hates it, so she gets a lift to and from work from me everyday as long as weather conditions are bad..

Been snowing quite heavily today in Manchester... Hoping I can build my snowman in my front garden tonight before I go to table tennis...

Morning all :j

Weigh in last night, and I lost 2.5lbs this week :T which takes me to a total of 1st 4lbs in 4 weeks!!! Am quite happy with that, hopefully will be reaching the 1.5 stone mark next week..

On a positive note, I have made a £500 overpayment this morning, which should take the unsecured loand sub 10K at last!! That will be a great milestone to reach and will surely spur us on to do even more..

Its -11c this morning, and frankly its a tiny bit chilly.. I should have stayed in bed..However in order to cheer my team up, I bought them a cooked breakfast, and I think it worked a treat!

It's snowing heavily Oop north! and I love it!!

Have received my latest elctricity & gas bill and good news we are still £74 in credit going through the winter...so all is good in Froggy's household.. Will be shortly off to Tesco with my shopping list in hand...

Followed MSE newsletter advice last week and found £12 worth of unused Tesco clubcard vouchers from last year :j Am sure I can find a way of spending them
