Crushing defeat at table tennis last night... We lost 8-2
Oh well, next game is Monday night, and am hoping for a drastic improvement..

OP wise, I have discussed the option with OH, and I think we have settled for a larger OP at the end of December as many of our outgoings (xmas, pay off last loan :o, OH bonus, OH new wage..) are still uncertain figures...
In the meantime, I might make a token OP just to keep my sanity...
We will definitely be below the £10K mark on the unsecured loan by the end of the year, and the plan is to get rid of it before summer 2011! :D

Received £2.00 cashback from Quidco yesterday, and still another £50 to come through before the end of the year...

    Cheers

    Morning all!

Hope you all had a nice weekend?

It must be winter! Its snowing up here on the hills!!

I have been to Slimming World last Thursday, and to my horror, I am tipping the scales at 18 stones dead  This is awful, I knew I was big, but not that big! Will be back at SW every Thursday from now on...
Oh well, cupboards have been emptied of all the cr*p, and replaced by very healthy alternatives... No more getting in the lift to the 6th floor at work, its now up the stairs! Ouch!!!
We've been out walking in a great park only 2 miles from where we live for the first time ever... We've been living round the corner for 4 years!! Great to get some fresh air, rather than being lazy on the sofa...

Money wise, nothing much happening, the end of the month and the wages getting in will bring more news...

Table tennis tonight, so hopefully a good win to cheer me up...

    Cheers

  • Hi Froggy - just thought I'd pop in to say hello - I have recently joined SW too - tipping the scales at 3 stone overweight, so maybe we should compare notes for motivation - my weigh-in day is thursday too! QB

Yes, I ate all the cr*p before I started my diet as well :rotfl:. Hope it goes well Froggy G. It is a very easy diet to follow when you're in the right frame of mind :T
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

SW is fab, i lost a stone easily a few years ago and I know lots of people following it with great success. Good luck!

Yikes to the snow, it was absolutely freezing yesterday though!

Hi CathT, nice to see you here :j
A few people that have done SW in the past have come to me to encourage me and none of them had a bad word to say about SW!!:T
