My blood pressure is exactly the same reading as that and the Doctor was most happy with that reading, in fact one GP I know was jealous "of a reading like that!"

Glad to hear you're feeling less stressed after your appointment, take care. I'm off to buy a lottery ticket too!

    Do parana Froggy,

I think being self-congratulatory is a bit off here. Having your fancy dan normal blood pressure says to me that you're now overly chilled out. Another way of reading that is that you're not caring enough about all the million and one things you can do to make bigger overpayments. I'd recommend (being a Valued Opinions G.P. of note) a bloody pressure of around 160/100 - a nice middle ground where you care enough to make yourself unwell but not that much that it kills you.

Life is all about balance Froggy and you've clearly swung too far to the dark side....

    Cheers (and you're very welcome),

    Billy

    Salut Billy!

I was wondering on my way in to work this morning, what kind of "motivational speech" you would come out with, once I had announced on here that my BP was much better.. And gosh I was so right.. There's no pleasing you, is it? ;)

Don't worry, work has made sure my BP does not stay low forever, with a 100 emails in my Inbox and a monumental c*ck up from the billing team which has taken me most of today to put right.. How caring of them...not...

I will be back on VO tonight before picking OH up from the station later on..

How was lunch with the suppliers? Hope you pushed the boat out for chocolate pudding and all!!

    Cheers

    Mortgage-free Glee!
    Shlomo Froggy,

I'm all for moving forward. Didn't want you resting on your laurels. I know a lovely policewoman down your way. I'm sure between us we could work out a way for you to get a hold of some serious firepower, take out all the nuts in your office and get away with it. I would imagine cutting down half the staff in your place would be enough of a release to sort the blood pressure once and for all and it would have the added bonus of removing the risk of redundancy for the people you choose to spare. I would think a mortgage sized bonus would be due to you for saving all the time and cost of consulting, scoring etc... I'm full of brilliant ideas this week.

Needless to say, Moyra's bad luck has rubbed off on me. I was bumped for lunch so it's been rescheduled to Monday. This has the double negative (which, contrary to you county types, doesn't always equal a positive) effect of me being starving and being unable to progress today what could be quite a lucrative project or two.

Still, out with friends for dinner tonight. A wee catch up from respective holidays and some souvenir swapping, maybe some darts and a few beers. Nothing to go wrong there I hope...

    Cheers,

    Billy

Ouch. That sounds as though it could leave money being very tight. Good thing you've been OPing so much so far. When would the timing be? And how are the plans for Princess to transfer down south?

Really hoping things get easier for you very soon.

Still not finished my email to Currys.. I think I have not heard the last of it yet..
Picked a fight with Vodafone this morning, and managed to get the mobile insurance cancelled (£5 a month) and got a £10 goodwill credit on my next bill too..

Off to table tennis practice tonight.. It will be hard but need to kick the exercise regime into gear at some point..

Credit card bill received this morning.. Very very high..:o Will have to do some transfers tonight and see what we are left with... Got 3/4 of tank of diesel this morning and it came up to £70...I can get a return flight to France for that!!

I need to pick OH up from work and we need to collect her car from the garage (service)..

Nothing much apart from that.. Tea is cottage pie (prepared yesterday)..

    Cheers

Many companies are feeling your wrath at the moment, I find it happens like that!

I think I'm having quiche for tea - yummy!
