    Morning all

Riots seem to have calmed down.. Don't think rioters & looters enjoy the rain that much ;)

OH drove over a screw on the driveway last night, so got a flat tyre that needs replacing.. I took her to work this morning, as I was at table tennis last night and got home too late to put the spare on... I will have to take her car to Kwik fit tonight, before (if) we go out..

We have not taken a decision as to going out tonight as yet to celebrate our wedding anniversary.. We exchanged cards and got OH a nice bottle of pink Champagne that we can open tonight..

I have my meeting with the company chairman at 9.30 this morning..but I very much doubt he will have anything interesting to tell me.. Only time will tell..

    Hope everybody is well?

    Cheers
    Froogy

Ps: Cath, had a quick glance at the Frogg Manor, looks like a very quirky place.. Have you been there to eat/stay before? how was it?

  • I was thinking rain would slow them down a bit. Glad you and princess ok.

I'm sooo horrified at the behaviour - and especially at the primary school teaching assistant who the media keep referring to as a teacher - ggggrrrrr.

..and the hairdresser and the millionaires educated daughter... makes you want to spit. We work hard for what we have and a few '*****' take it away in an instant. Hopefully the full force of the law will be used against them and the won't just get a slap on the wrist...

  • and the army recruit (just the type we want to be defending us and handling firearms), the undergraduates, and the 11 old for heavens sake. I suspect many of them aren't 'bad' people, but they saw the chance of getting something for nothing and thought 'why not' without a shred of conscience.

Happy anniversary to you both. Hope the meeting goes well.

I have been to Frogg Manor twice, it is very quirky and the first time i went i thought it wasn't for me. I think i got disturbed by a woman appearing from behing a bookcase which i assumed was a solid wall right by where I was sitting! I think one/some of the rooms have 'secret passageways' to the bar!

Food is excellent though and I know in the week they offer a tadpole menu which is a lot cheaper than the gourmet menu. Also, if you spend £100 i think you get free accomodation. We did that when we went for my mum's bday as there were quite a few of us and she stayed over and loved it. The area it's in is fab, there are loads of brilliant restaurants.

I wish Frogg Manor was near me, it sounds like being in a game of Cluedo - people appearing from nowhere, secret passages and all! :rotfl:

    Morning all!

Had a great night in town last night.. Very nice romantic meal, followed by far too many cocktails in trendy bars.. I have no idea what time we got home, but my head really hurts this morning, and I never heard the alarm..oops..
Town centre was very quiet. Police was everywhere.. At one of the shopping centre, there was a copper every 10 metres...

    Plan for this weekend:
    - OH to beauty therapist tonight
    - Food shopping
    - SIL & BIL over for tea tomorrow
    - OH at hairdresser & Zumba tomorrow
    - Garage to get new tyre on OH's car
    - Shopping for new flooring downstairs
    - Catch up on VO
    - OH to nail painting appointment on Sunday
    - ...

I am sure there's plenty more but my head is quite fuzzy this morning...

    Cheers
