Thanks Cath, finally some good news.. Had telephone appointment with GP afterwards, and managed to get the prescription I wanted too.. I just need to pick it up tonight after work..

Aww Cath, am sorry about the tyre.. Is your OH around today to put the spare on? If not let me know and I'll drive to yours to help you out...

Aw, thank you. It was OH that noticed it yesterday after we'd been shopping. The tyre pressure was on 6!! Just been out in car and it seems ok so not sure how you check for a slow puncture. Can't exactly put tyre in a bowl of water as you would do with a bike!

    Morning all

Been to see the nurse this morning, to check my blood pressure again.. Result was 120 over 74 (I know Billy, you are disappointed :o).. Result is great for me though, back to top form hopefully.

    Cheers

    Ira Gwa Froggy,

Anniversary arrangements, redundancy meetings, planning a house move, looking after a pampered puss on your own, weighing up the potential fixture list for the hard ping pong season ahead, sorting the current house for renting and living in an area where they're rioting in the streets...and your blood pressure gets better!?!?

    Yeah, yeah, I'm the oddball!

    Cheers,

    Billy

Edit: just checked the FF. Not a brilliant start. I'm 1.15 millionth!!!

The Gerard Dippydoo one I saw the other week was really good ;)

I so wish I could pack in this job right now.. I work with a bunch of numpties..
One of the manager takes the term "flex time" to a brand new level I did not know existed.. She went home at midday yesterday to sort out her car insurance renewal.. Her work from home attitude is purely shocking, and her team management skills are pretty much non existent.. The person sitting opposite is shocked if you ask her to do anything or if she has to be comfronted with any sort of difficulties.. Come on love, grow a pair or move on
One of my staff asked me this morning, can the company pay for my studies.. No mate, the next piece of paper you will see is your P45, you are about to be made redundant, like the rest of us .. Open your eyes, clean your ears and buy a brain.. My other staff fell asleep at her desk yesterday..
What have I done to deserve that?!?!?

OH's team (3 people) is going pear shape too.. 2 of them have quit in the last week, and she has massive deadlines looming in the next few weeks.. This will surealy impact our moving plans...

    By the way, good morning...
