    Thanks everybody!

Am back from the GP, and sat at work :o

Results came back excellent.. Blood pressure is 128 over 78.. Nurse said it was good.. Cath, can you confirm it is ok please?

Thanks all for your good wishes, it means a lot..

Hopefully this will be the start of a good run... (better go and get a couple of lottery tickets, on the odd chance that today is a very good day!)

    Cheers

    Fab news:D:j!!

I believe docs like the bottom figure to be below 80. Not sure about the top one. I'm sure Cath will advise you properly soon, but its definitely better than the previous reading:T.

About time you had some good news.

Sounds good to me. They like the top one to be below 140 too. You did good there then. Big drop.

Thanks Michelle, its very reassuring its now gone down.. I have another check on the 16th, then I'll be given the green light..

As I was up early this morning, I have sold an old mobile phone (given free with an upgrade) and managed to get £6 + £3 cashback.. It all helps towards the goal..

Now looking forward to the weekend.. Once the painters & the fitters have been, it will be a huge step towards our goal..

    Cheers

Everythings great thanks:D (apart from the mortgage overpayments - won't be much happening on that front this month, hopefully back to normal next). Just seem to be very busy but that's probably because I have now added 5 dog walks a day to my routine:D(dog walker will take over 1 from Monday) - but Cara's just a sweetheart and I am loving the company and the exercise and I've even lost a few pounds, so I am very happy.

My blood pressure is exactly the same reading as that and the Doctor was most happy with that reading, in fact one GP I know was jealous "of a reading like that!"

Glad to hear you're feeling less stressed after your appointment, take care. I'm off to buy a lottery ticket too!

    Do parana Froggy,

I think being self-congratulatory is a bit off here. Having your fancy dan normal blood pressure says to me that you're now overly chilled out. Another way of reading that is that you're not caring enough about all the million and one things you can do to make bigger overpayments. I'd recommend (being a Valued Opinions G.P. of note) a bloody pressure of around 160/100 - a nice middle ground where you care enough to make yourself unwell but not that much that it kills you.

Life is all about balance Froggy and you've clearly swung too far to the dark side....

    Cheers (and you're very welcome),

    Billy
