Wawuka Froggy,
Now, I realise this might be a bit of a flyer, but...
There's a lot of talk about people making up pictures of their house and colouring in bricks of the picture to represent the percentage of mortgage paid off. I like the idea but I think there's room for improvement. How about you turn it up to 11 and, in celebration of such a landmark achievement, paint the furthermost left 10% of your house blue. Over time, you'd be able to do the whole French flag and, more to the point, none of your adoring hordes would have any trouble finding your place and popping in for a cup of tea.
I'm sure your prospective letting agents would love the idea. That way, any new tenants could be reminded on a daily basis how much of your mortgage they are paying off!
Cheers,

Think OH will shoot me if I ever present this idea, especially the French flag..
I do agree we need a visual representation of the journey to mortgage freedom though...Froggy's New Lillypad FundTotal so far: £ 10,009.770 -
Pewea Froggy,

Hear hear (apart from the 1st part in case it's an ancient Gaelic curse or something)

Maybe it could be part of the tenancy agreement they have to paint it as and when required :rotfl:A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effortMortgage Balance = £0

Hi Froggy,
I too had cholestrol (slightly above normal) for some time a few months back and it improved when I had Flora Pro-Activ Probiotic Yogurt Drink daily for almost a month. BTW, I am not a medic, but I hoped this might help you.
Wishing you lots of luck and Best Regards.

Hope all goes well at doctors tomorrow. When you're having BP done don't talk and make sure you sit with both feet flat on the floor (both of these can affect reading if not done).
I like the idea of a visual representation of house ownership but I am not creative or imaginative enough so I will just have to watch my balance go down instead!June 2025 - part 1 - £19,145 part 2 - £21,973 Total - £41,118 29 months to go!0 -
