Morning all :j
Gorgeous day up here.. Already been to the butchers first thing this morning, while OH is at Mr T..
Harry Potter was great last night, I can highly recommend it.. Frankie & Benny's was an experience in itself..What a shamble!?! I am probably harsh as I have worked for a long time in that industry, but they were so disorganised, you would have thought they were filming new episodes of Fawlty Towers.. Food was ok though..
We will definitely do cinema dates again..
A bit of painting to do in the kitchen, Formula 1 and lots of relaxing on the program today.. And also looking forward to OH famous Fish Pie for tea tonight...
Hope everybody is well?

Hi Froggy
I have spent the last couple of days reading through parts of the thread - too much to read it all lol! I am so sorry to hear your recent sad news.
You are an inspiration, what you are doing is amazing!!!!! I told my dh all about it - he wasn't convinced we should bother OP'ing as our mortgage is due to finish when we are 45 so not too bad - but I showed him your calculations of how much you will save on interest paying it off sooner and he was very impressed!!!
A wee comment on your move, none of my business I know, but if you are serious about renting have a long think about that before doing further home improvements - renting can really wreck your house in no time!!! Unfortunately some people really don't care as its not their home, though I am sure the majority are not like this. However going down the corporate route sounds good, and you would want a high spec finish for that purpose, however if you are renting to a family or group of students, I would consider keeping the home improvements to the minimum! Until you go to sell, then put the money in doing it up. I am sure you have thought of all that already though.
I hope your BP settles, I trained as a personal trainer, and the difference excercise can make to normalise BP is amazing. As others said, its no wonder with the stress in your life at the mo, thats one of the main causes of high BP. It can take a while to normalise though after the stress is sorted, so you may still wish to try some excercise.
Good luck, hope you manage to contact your dad soon.0 -
Miiyu Froggy,
So sorry about your uncle. I should have thought to bring you back the DeLorean that is currently sitting on Fremont Street so that you could give 2011 another chance. It's been a nightmare of a year so far and you're both doing really well to manage as well as you obviously are. Not being an MD of note, I can't offer all that much advice but I would think it well worth the chat with your G.P. to explain the house, job, family, baby situations as starting a regimen of tablets for forever and a day at your tender years isn't the most appealing of plans! How the karma of the universe didn't give you the euromillions jackpot to begin evening things out is beyond me...
Cheers,

Thanks for de-lurking Miss Duke..
Concerning the house, we are only changing what is necessary, and decorating to an acceptable level.. The rent should be high enough to avoid having people willing to rip off the house apart..
Concerning the BP, I have picked up the exercise and watching my diet..

Ciao Billy
Thanks...
Nice to have you back around mate.. Yes I could do with the Delorean..There are some people I would like to bring back.. I did mention all those things to my GP, but as you mentioned I am not keen at all on a pile of daily pills for the forseeable future.. I believe I am strong enough to get through that..
The Euromillion jackpot would have been nice but it was not to be (up to now anyway)...
Cheers
