Parcelforce will charge around £15 fully tracked 48 hr service, can drop off at a post office or may even collect if you book online. Looking at a couple of the independant couriers, they charge practically as much.

Suggest starting price of £25 (don't use reserve it costs an extra fee). Looking at completed listings for the same faulty model on Ebay you can see they may reach £55 - but the one with No Reserve went for over £200 in December even though faulty. Ebay tends to accurately value techy things.

BTW there is a 10p Listing Day Thursday 11th Jan - keeps your listing fee low!

Mines in good nick.....you can actually turn it on and use it. I believe even if someone wanted to fix it it wouldnt be that expensive for someone who cud source the parts.....the pcmcia slot is worth £5 and the usb port cant be that expensive!

Can we have a sweepstake on this thread - guess the final bid price of your lappy? I will start with a guess of £139.

Normally USB ports are integral to the motherboard so not swappable really. (I broke mine but was able to just use a PCMCIA card with them and power it from the PS2 mouse port via a PS2 to USB converter!!)

Hmm im sure with the usb its a matter of removing the old usb ports and soldering on the new ones.
