If you return them to the store they will refund the price on the invoice so yes you will keep the free item
Beware that not all items can be returned to store.
From my order nearly half have stars next to them saying they have to be returned by post.
And you will be charged £2 for postage and admin. I am still not sure if that is per item or for all entire order.

Well I just checked my invoice and nearly everything I want to return has a star next to it. I don't have a car so I think I'd have to return everything by post anyway. Considering there is a £2 charge for postal refunds (didn't know that until it was pointed out on this thread) plus I don't know what I'll end up paying for the items I want to keep, I think I'll just sell what doesn't fit me on ebay!0

 Interesting.
So why put that on invoice:mad:. I am gutless wonder when it comes to refunds so might send it back via post so don't have to deal with CS.
I just thought I would point it out as it was my first order and have never returned anything.

No reply to my email yet.Got yet another order this morning and the shirt sets are just shirts! Strange considering even on the invoice it says 2 piece shirt set! Any news from those who emailed about this? Also not impressed as a skirt I ordered was cancelled, OOS, but when I went on later after the cancellation email was set it was still in stock! Ordered it again along with a few bits and had a dispatch email this morning? Ridiculous! 'They only had one cow!'0 'They only had one cow!'0

When I called this morning the lady told me that someone else had complained about the missing trousers and it seems that the website is wrong.
I told her that it wasn't my problem and i wanted the trousers and she told me i could return the shirts at no cost, i said no so she offered me a partial refund of £2 as one of the shirt sets was my free item, (i ordered two shirt sets plus a mens jumper)
I took the refund as i couldn't be bothered with all of the hassle.
I will be going into store tomorrow and will take my shirts with me (they may well tell me to contact tesco clothing online) but will see if they will do me an exchange for the proper set, ill not tell them about the refund lol (unless i really have to, then ill blame oh) 0 0

Hey rooster I have not seen these sets instore but have seen the shirts? So maybe they only sell the shirt? If you take the shirt back with your invoice they will refund you what you paid on the invoice! Or if you take it back without invoice they will give you a gift card of the amount it scans at through the till?! I took a shirt back my DS had for his birthday and it said £3,60 on sale online so figured I would get that but it scanned at £1 so only got a £1! I have found that the sale price online differs to that instore so check before deciding what to do and possibly Ebay? :xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club! :xmassmile**New** Thrifty Gifty Money Making for Christmas and all occasions 2012**:xmassmileMember No. 11 of Happy Chappy's Clip Strip Club!
