I am sick
For the last two years I have been so healthy that I am in shock that I am sick. I have not taken Moo for his walk and ssshhhhhhhh dont tell anyone but I am still in my dressing gown. Moo has had to endure a turn around the garden (with temporary side gate still in place pending the new one) and he seems quite content. He is currently snoozing on his bed and snoring very loudly.
In honour of being so poorly and the fact that I can hardly move i have decided to watch some tv on iplayer and itv player whilst lounging on the sofa in my dressing gown. Now, I no longer own a tv so I have no clue what programmes are available so I have been surfing. So far today I have watched, 60 minute makeover, Paul OGrady interviewing Robbie and Gary and Piers Morgan interviewing Barbara Windsor. If I watch any iplayer tv it usually is comedy shows or a particular documentary that I am interested in so this morning has been very decadent indeed. Now whilst I never want to get back into mindlessly watching tv I have quite enjoyed being sick. Daft I know but it has made me realise that I never just sit and do nothing constructive. I am usually writing, cooking, reading, catching up on diairies on here (yes that is constructive because I am learning), walking Moo, cleaning out the parrot cage, cleaning the house, working long hours. You get the picture.
I text OH to tell him I was sick and he rang me to cheer me up which was lovely but the conversation ended with him worrying that I will be well enough to drive North tomorrow to be with his Mum and Dad for a visit from the Pensions service (I used to work for them so they think I will be a big help and moral support) to which I responded of course.
When I put the phone down I thought what if I am not. Started worrying and then was sick again. I am now thinking that I really need to Stop as Mr Big has suggested. Stop what you may ask, well just STOP, sit down, lounge, recharge my batteries, do nothing, think nothing, dont fret, and veg out in front of more rubbish tv. So that is where I am heading to after my quick round of the diaries.

((((((((((cherisong))))))))))) oh dear duck
You poor thing
You're right, if you're not well tomorrow then you can't go, and you'll just have to send best wishes, and offer advice at a later date. Don't go making yourself worse! You're right, sometimes the best thing to do is just STOP. Look after yourself today xx

Aah get well soon Cheri. Sounds like you really do need a good rest. It's just the body's way of making you slow down. It's not how far you fall - it's how high you bounce back.... :jHappiness is not a destination - it's a journey0

Now I know I am sick because all of your kindness just made me holler.
Just watched to buy or not to buy. Where do these people get that type of money. I will depress myself further by heading over to watch Kirsty and Phil next. After the viewing I have planned I am sure I will not be sick for another 2 yearsThank heavens I no longer have a tv with sky and so I cant watch that Extreme Homes makeover - MOVE THAT BUS or I would be in floods of tears.
thanks everyone

Sorry you are poorly, we all have colds here too. You dropped off my list but I found you (((((I'm not a stalker, honest
))))))
Hope you get Moo sorted for Christmas, wasn't there someone else who had offered? I can't remember a name though.
Take care and reschedule the appointment if you need to. x0 -
Still feeling icky. Not looking forward to the week ahead and I am having a major wobble for reasons I cannot fathom.
Yesterday, despite being poorly I decided that I needed something to cheer me up so had a major tidy up in the garden. Despite it being a tip I can at least tidy it up. As a special treat I blew £20 at the garden centre on bird feeders and set up the RSPB pole that I found in the garden. I am now sitting by the patio door waiting to see if any birdies turn up. When in fact I should by now be showered, dressed and on my way out of the door to drive for 2 hours to a meeting.
I will head off now. Is it really still 2 weeks to paydaySome days there aren't any trumpets, just lots of dragons. Courage doesn't always roar. Sometimes courage is the quiet voice at the end of the day saying, I will try again tomorrow -- Mary Anne Radmacher0 -

Hope you've managed to get up and out to your meeting now. Watching birds really is the best thing
Just about to PM you with details of when we're off to your neck of woods, it'd be extremely cheery if we could manage meeting for a quick cup of tea! :T But no pressure, and if you're away or really would rather not, then do just sayxx
