    HOUSE!

    Again, mindblowing arrogance!

I am not surprised the OP felt sick, it happened to me in a resturant after specifically checking there was no meat in the dish, first bit was a bit of chicken that looked like a mushroom (was a mushroom dish).

I felt physicaly sick as well I had went 7 years without eating animal products and that was ruined in one bite.

You can say its no harm done all you like but thats missing the point completely. A vegetarian pie should contain no meat whatsoever under any circumstances its not the same as finding vegetables in a meat dish and those who have stated that are just showing ignorance to the debate.

Some companies label food and say "due to the processe used in making this product, it may contain traces of nuts and seeds".

Are we back to fellatio again?

A similar thing happened to my uncle's friend's wife with another well known supermarket. She threatened to sue and won £12,000 in an out of court settlement. It was in the papers

I agree that a vegetarian pie shouldn't contain meat, however it's not really the catastrophe that the OP made it out to be.
    Upsetting? Yes.
    Life threatening? Of course not.

    Mistakes do happen.

Fine, write to Asda, explain what has happened and ask for their assurances.
Simple, no need for dramatic statements.
If Peas can manage to put together a brief, to-the-point and unemotional letter, they may even get some gesture of goodwill.

    Just make sure you spit.

But that's the point isn't it?! Surely that's the same as a vegetarian popping along to a bbq, wiping a sausage round the inside of their mouth and then spitting it out. That's the Monica Lewinsky school of vegetarianism.

"It's OK! I didn't swallow!".... :D Actually I think I've got that all wrong, but it's still funny! :rotfl:

All we need now is someone to tell us how violated they were by a sausage and we're away....! :D

    It's a dodgy l key I have, I am sure I pressed it twice...

I admit I am not the best when it comes to spelling, however just to pull you up on something I am sure misspelling has 2 s's in it does it not? ;)
