:j hi iwantahome, thanks for popping by! yes i know i am luckier than most :)

budget is not good atm :( had to go to a supermarket for a MS and ended up spending £5 on pizza and cake :( on plus side got a reduced can opener and microwave for house!

my friend is getting married in just over two weeks time (very quick!) only got engaged 4 weeks ago! so i am going to the wedding and luckily hotel is free as mum used her holiday inn points (gets lots from work stays). should not cost too much :)

her friends are organising a hen do next sat night so i am going to that now so will need to pay for train, hotel, dinner and drinks in london...eeek

added to manchester this weekend and it is going to be expensive! means i will have to be frugal rest of time so def no frittering away on cakes from shop, coffee, mags etc...! but will be nice to have a few weekends seeing friends and whilst i will try and show restraint dont want to be too tight!

had a fairly productive week so far. phoned tax office, sorted out info for solicitors and got two more MS which i have already done! had to spend £30 buying stuff so will need to find out what arrangements are for getting that back (normally only do fee jobs for this co, not had to buy anything before). also started my 2 surveys and am currently updating the spreadsheet.

hopefully survey will be done on my house soon so things can progress- desperate for a completion date (even if is not for a while) so i can order sofa as it takes 4 weeks!

Hope you get your moving date soon clippy, am off down to Surrey myself tomorrow, my poor little car is full of the assorted random things I need for the next couple of weeks while I live in the boy's room at work and try to find a job and somewhere to live on a more permanent basis. My room still looks a bomb site with the household stuff lying around but I figure at this point I may as well keep it for next year when we're looking at getting our own place.

good luck with finding somewhere sucbaangel! and thank you for the encouragement girlracer! nice to come back and have encouragement!

v tired now as been to salsa tonight, only one more week to go :( will have to look into next lot of classes and is v fun! less than £5 per week if book in advance :D

so back from manchester now, all in all was not as bad cost wise as i thought, spent about £85 on meals, nights out, lunch, coffee., primark skirt etc... so did not go too mad. spent a fortune on petrol though as so many delays on way there was driving for nearly 2 hours more than normal

am playing badminton tomorrow night with some people from work, should only be a few pounds and should be fun :)

    tasks for the week are-
    go swimmimg
    tidy room
update mystery shopping spreadsheet with payments received
update house purchases spreadsheet with stuff bought (buying £5 dvd player from work intranet tomoz!)
find out if survey has been done yet on house

and i get paid on thursday! v excited as can now implement my changes :) will update sig on wed evening as doing it at end of month so will know what i have left over (nothing this month due to overdraft payment last payday. will not be much to update sig with as had already made regular payment to cc and dad and had received most of my MS payments before i started this diary. so this will be the first full month since starting diary!

just checked egg and have been paid £3.89 interest on my isa account (money only in for short time last year!). woohoo!

although v annoyed as accidently took £20 out of wrong account on sat! luckily i have a £100 overdraft (in addition to my £500 interest free so not got to pay any high fees). must be more careful!

will transfer all money out of MS account for holiday savings so hopefully should have £400 saved. got a £51 cheque to pay in but not had a chance yet. that will have to be counted next month as not paying in till sat :(

right off to watch gossip girl now! night!

Hi, did a bit of detective work and found you have a diary. Congratulations on the house purchase :T
I haven't yet bought my fist house (although I too am purchasing small bits and bobs in anticipation) so I have subscribed and will watch with avid interest how things proceed.

so payday tomorrow :) have checked accounts and transfered all money from MS account to holiday savings which are now at £383.89 :j should be an extra £51 in there but unfortunately did not get a chance to pay cheque in. o well, means it can count towards next months :) waiting on £401 in MS fees as well :T

not very impressive figures this month as i had already made my payment to dad and cc and had £300 in MS account when started this diary. hoping to have at least £750 in holiday account next month, hard to tell if i will as MS co's pay at various times and some the month after. earn over £150 from one co each month and they pay few days after my 'new month' starts but i need to have a cut off date each month so chose day before main salary goes in.

have remembered to cancel standing order to landlord which is good! will need to work out pro-rata payment for rest of the month. hope i can complete in time or i will be homeless on 25th sept!!

grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr need to rant as stupid moronic housemate has hidden toothpaste so i will now need to go and buy some when i get up from tesco express at top of road. grrrrrrr he is such a !!!!! we normally share and take it in turns (roughly) to buy some. we have ran out of the one i bought and his gf uses one of them gel ones and told me where it was this morning. he has brushed his teeth this evening and hidden it (i have found where he hid it so know it has not accidently been moved!). what a bloody tight !!!!! god i am so annoyed :mad:

i cannot wait to move out!:T

have been out today for work doing visits so ended up buying an ice cream and drink (well i was by the sea and it was hot!). out of weekly budget so will need to ensure i dont have any more treats this week.

only thing planned is curry for guy at work leaving on wed. will need to try and keep as much as possible though for next week as have got wedding.

got a MS to do on sat, good fee as is in two parts and have to wait a bit before can go back. i need to go bank anyway and might take a book to read so dont need to go in shops whilst waiting! maybe i can get another MS to do :)

    Oh dear :(

You'll have to use his toothbrush to clean the toilet when you move out :)
