    Welcome back Clippy! :hello:

Bummer about the car, might be worth getting a few quotes to find out if it's worth making an insurance claim or not. Even if you have protected NCB a claim will still affect your insurance premium (and for several years to boot) so for small(ish) sums it's often cheaper not to claim at all. (has been many moons since I worked in car insurance industry so things may have changed though)

Think your spending has been very restrained all things considered, and wherever did you find a pair of spectacles for £34.50??? Do they have any lenses for that price?

Good luck with the batch cooking, should be fun :p

PS Good to see you back :)

    hello!

i got the glasses from specsavers and they include lenses. they are from the £69 bogof range but as i pay my contacts by direct debit i can choose half price instead if i want.

no choice about the car unfortunately, i have to take it to one place and they will take the panels off and respray it. as its a lease car from work have to do what they want :(

so hacve put a sausage casserole in the slow cooker and have spemt the last 4 hours glossing my bedroom. i have a confession to make, couldnt be bothered to clean the gloss off the brushes so just binned them! they were 99p for a pack of 5 so dont feel too bad!

got lots to do still today, plan is-

clean paint off floor amd move furniture back to close to the wall
iron and hang curtains in bedroom
polish and sweep livingroom and dining room
    sort out washing
    eat sausage casserole :)
if i can be bothered, start putting together wardrobe

feeling depressed now as not really done MS for 2 months due to house and hol so noticing the cash not coming in. i am missing 3 audits in dec as i am at work and they cant be rescheduled so will be a rubbish month again :( have gone from nearly £400 in may to £57 earnt in nov! have subscribed to the alert thread again so hope to get some more soon! :(

not hung the curtains as paint is wet so will hang in the morning.
have also swept stairs and filled in hole in bathroom. have put all screws etc.. in wardrobe now, just need to put it together.

off to sort out rest of casserole and do dishes!
