Sorry to hear the job news, I went through this in 2002 (just after buying house to) and again in 2009. I survived both times and luckily the 2002 epsiode encouraged me pay of all my debts and save for an emergency fund.

I hope you can enjoy your holiday with out this worrying you, I'm sure you will

heating has just come on at its allocated time, feeling rather pleased it has worked as did not come on this morning for some reason!

rang mortgage co to check payment info as they appear to have the wrong bank account down. he has to send me a form to change it so i will get the cash out on friday and pay it in the other account so it is sorted this month. whilst on the phone he was trying to flog insurance. i mentioned i was interested in mppi and he put me through to a guy who said i could still have it as i have not been told i am at risk. i was v honest and gave him all info i had and he said it would be fine as long as i am not told within 60 day period of taking it out. so that is good news :j bad news is it is £29 a month and that just covers mortgage payments! still is better than not having it and if my job is safe i can then switch around later. will do some more research but might go for that.

have magaged to build two of my three nest of tables so plan for tonight is-
    • build third table
    • eat dinner
    • go b&q to get hook lock thing for bathroom door
    • go to chavsda to get a few bits (despise this shop but next door to b&q)
    • set up broadband now phone line is installed
    • order travel money
    • have bath and wash hair
    • bed :)

I'm so impressed with all the decorating you are doing

I lived in mine for 8 years before I started decorating - and that was just because its now up for sale
