Wow, can't believe you're in! :T:j:D
Hope you thoroughly enjoyed your first weekend in YOUR NEW HOME - whither it was champagne and cocktails, or plaster dust and paint spatters :beer:0 -
so i'm in! yey! had a lovely day off work lounging around doing not a lot today! meant to make the nest of tables but couldnt face it in the end so went for a swim! back to work tomorrow!
but off fri afternoon to travel to manchester!
money wise doing ok i think, none left over this month to give to dad (except for the regular monthly amount) but got enough for the last of my holiday spending money and enough to clear credit card. luckily mum bought stuff when she was over and dad gave me some money so that helped as well!
will need to buy another tin of paint for my ceiling and gloss for the living room but that shouldnt be more than £40 hopefully! (not buying cheap stuff) already bought paint for the walls in my room
only 18 days till my holiday :j:j before i go i will hopefully paint my room and do the gloss in living room. then when i am back i have 4 days off work so will see if dad can help me build my bedroom furniture and put up pics etc... think the guy left the bathroom paint so will see if there is enough to put another coat on to freshen it up!
i am now in about £1500 more debt than when i started due to borrowing money off mum to buy house stuff but have masnaged to pay nearly £500 to dad as well as saving £1000 for my holiday! will crack on with repaying when i am back
also my friend moved in last night so i will get the rent before i need to pay the mortgage payment and i have the £300 from this months rent saving to pay the extra 1/2 month so happy about that!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0 -

Awww, now I have visions of you curled up of a night atop a pile of jumbled wood and unpacked boxes whilst you await the services of your dad and his screwdriver :rotfl:0 -

hmmm so got bad news
my dept has been hit with over 25% cut so ppl will have to be made redundant. they have put the details out for consultation today but have been told we are still getting hit by that much as cabinet dont think we are that imp
not got mppi and too late to get it now. even if i had bought it last week when i moved in looks like it would be invalid anyway as found out in the no claim time frame
no idea what will happen, who will go, when etc... but dont think anything will happen till after xmas anyway.
so holiday next friday so will enjoy that :j:beer:. even if i am not made redundant will be last big hol anyway until i repay my debt
working from home today as bedroom furniture has arrived and getting my phoneline put in. have had a productive morning so far, two big bits completed to hand in for assessment tomorrow
have also had a quick shift around and tidied up some stuff in my room in prep to paint it at weekend. really want to get gloss done as well as then i try and build furniture during evenings next week before i go on holiday.
mortgage co have paid me £275 today. was in terms that if i had my survey done with the person the recommended they would refund the valuation fee of £275. but i never actually paid them for that, i paid the survey co direct for my survey inc that fee. not going to complain as more to chuck off debt. accounts looking healthy atm, mainly due to water and gas/elec dd not going out this month as they couldnt set them up in time! dont think they will charge doubler next month but supose means i will end up owing them money as my dd will not cover useage. moved to a cheaper online tarif and have now worked out to set timer on boiler!:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j0
