  • im back :D

lots of money spent eeek!

spent over £100 in argos but bought stepladder, dustbuster, smoke alarm, carbon monoxide alarm and a twin pack digital phone. then spent £80 in the range on cushions, lamps, lampshades and a mirror. need to get a rug from argos tomorrow as they only had the display one today.

    so tasks for tomorrow-

go to morrisons and get food for week
get rug from argos next door
attempt to rearange some stuff in my room to make more room
sort out clothes for holiday and pack rest of summer stuff
    email solicitor
    watch xfactor
    possibly go to gym!

  • sooooo tired and feeling like i am drowning in stuff! have pulled out all clothes and am now sorting them out. got a massive pile of studd to go to the charity shop and found a fcuk blouse and dkny shorts i can sell on ebay! am trying to get rid of some stuff that i dont wear. what i have found is that i dont have many 'winter' clothes except cosy pjs, a million pairs of tights and about 10 prs of slipper socks. have pulled out my massive fluffy dressing gown and slipper boots so im happy now! going to be ruthless with my shoes now. problem is i have so many and i like them,. just domt wear most of them!

have done a bot of rearranging but is awful, totally surounded by stuff! problem is i have a massive deep space in the corner where the stairs are which is great for storing stuff. had to pull everything out there as that is where the case was with the winter stuff! think i will dump all summer stuff in case and sort out hol clothes next week!

still have not managed to get microsoft office to work :cry: i cant live without it as its where my spreadsheet for debts is so i cant go in and look at it :( also my mystery shopping spreadsheet i really need to access to update it with jobs i have done and payments received. as it has so many complicated formulas in it wont open using any of the programs that martin suggested in the email the other week :(

got a massive pile of studd to go to the charity shop ...

Ooooh, sounds intriguing. Wouldn't mind a massive pile of studd myself ;)

Bummer about microsoft office, are you getting an error message at all?

lol yes, wouldnt be giving that away ;)

yes it was a random message about a printer file, not sure what that has to do with office! deleted my printer and it has now worked :T

happy 2 hours was spent updating my MS spreadsheet and debt repayment plan. seemed to have more left over than i thought after all the bills had been paid so spent about 40 mins doing the plan and felt pleased with myself until i realised i had forgotten to include weekly spends! doh :wall: so will need to revise that as means i will be nearly £3k shorter than what i thought! not going to bother updating it again though till i move in and know how much the bills will actually be! still hoping to be debt free by march 2012 so that i can go on a massive trip to new zealand that xmas (all paid for in cash obviously!) :)

urgh just remembered have not done my report for for my pizza MS :( best get on with it1

oooh not updated for a few days! my friend at work got the permanent job so we have had a chat and hopefully she will be moving into the spare room. she will let me know next week hopefully! that will be great if she does as she wants to move in a few days after i complete as she is staying in a hotel at the mo. that will be really good as it means wont need to borrow any for mortgage as rent will be straight away :)

got some v good bargains at argos :) had 15% off furniture so saved quite a bit. sofa ordered and bedroom furniture. changed my mind on bedroom furniture in spareroom as one i was going to get looked too cheap. ordered a nicer one but is 28 day delivery though  as friend needs to move in (and will be paying rent!) i am going to put my furniture in her room and swap the bedside table and drawers over when it arrives (i ordered the same furniture i bought a year ago) mine have a few marks on and i told her i was ordering brand new furniture for the room!

have managed to rearrange my bedroom a bit today so i can actually see the floor! also went to get contact lenses for a trial as am sick of my glasses. getting the hang of it now and dont feel like i am poking myself in the eye!

am being a bit lazy MS wise :o hardly had any booked as i thought i would move on 23rd so did not book any. problem is i need to pack and buy holiday clothes next weekend, weekend after i move, then i go manchester and then is last weekend b4 hol so need to pack and build furniture (which will have arrived). so does not look like much will get done in oct and then i am away most of nov

i haver about half my target in regular jobs which i am still doing and will only miss two of these when i go on holiday. so with my overtime pay, cashback from hp and cashback from quidco this should bring it up to what i need.

think i am just going to try and stick to the budget, have done a new one as decided to put money aside each month for presents. worked out if i put £23 month away that should pay for xmas and birthdays so will start that. will start this from payday in oct but have sis and dad bdays plus two friends so all that money will go on those. i will pay for xmas using coins i have been saving but next year it will come from this amount so means all coins can be paid off debt :)

prob not going to update sig etc.. until i am in house and back from holiday so know excatly how much bills are and what i have left over. will also know how much i owe mum so will be more accurate. once i have these amounts i will sort out a timetable for payments and check DFD :)

hmm still got a few things to do!

have decided which tariff i want with eon so will call tomorrow. not sure if i am on meter or rates with water, will give them a call tomorrow as well. signed up to sky online and my £65 cashback has tracked :) that will cover the fees i had to pay to get it installed.

will make my complete packing/shopping list for holiday on the train tomorrow to give me something to do!

will make the list of places i am going to tonight to take to the doctor on wed so can see pharmacist about what malaria tablets i need.

got my backpack, went for the £84 one in the end as the others felt cheap in comparison. will last me forever so not too bad. apart from that a NSD!

also need to update my banking details with all 12 MS co's so hopefully that will be all sorted by time i am back from hol :)

    Well done, that's a lot achieved :)
