Natty (((HUG))) That's why I have a PDA. I have the memory of an IQ-challenged amoeba these days! :rotfl:
Love that one liner about an IQ-challenged amoeba...do you mind if I steal it for a put down (don't believe in cursing for put downs)...it's on the par with wee infectious protozoa (that's smaller than an amoeba apparently and I'm no scientist).....:rotfl:This may sound odd but please I'd welcome your thoughts. Been feeling increasing rough over last few weeks after finally admitting I wasn't coping at work (part-time) so went off sick. Have had regular contact with medics but just keep sinking in my coping in so many areas. At the start of time off a shop to get a few items wasn't too bad although had to rest for rest of day and now can do almost nothing. I really hate this slow decline game where you feel so alone. I'm actually almost hoping to be admitted when I go for my appt. Does that sound strange to you? I normally hate going in. I normally make my own way to appts and generally am fiercely independant but now I simply cant do it and feel bad about and a bit scared. Is this just me or do those of you with chronic illness get the same. Sorry for the moan.
Ouch Tralia that sounds horrid. 1 joint of of place is horrific 17 I cannot comprehend how bad that must feel.
What is your disability if you don't mind me asking...If you need to go in go in, or if you just need respite and you have a good friend's or a respite hostel (I can't afford mine) then go there.....You sound like you know what's best for you. I find when sick I love the smell of the psych unit yet when well it repulses me....
Anyhow I have a place on a graphic design course...so I start that on Tuesday. I just need to get my finger out and do my ECDL..... ready for an admin jobbie at some point in the future
And I got a new card trimmer for my cardmaking...:j.....A woodware one and it's quite good and the blades are ultra safe (for those worried about cutting themselves)...has loads of different blades and you can buy 8 in a box for about £10 otherwise I pay £3 each...
Everyone have a good day

Some good news for once...
I was told a while ago about an inpatient 4 week pain management programme in London, I talked to my GP and she said the PCT wouldn't allow her to refer me there but she could see how it had the potential to help me and I should fight the PCT. Today I got a letter from her saying that she met a Rheumatologist who is setting up something similar in my local (15 miles away) major hospital and she has refered me there, off her own back, which is just brilliant! No extra spoons to find to fight yet another authority, and probably a shorter waiting list because it's local and doesn't seem to be well known. Woop :rotfl: :T0 -
Had an OU exam today. It wasn't awful, but I wasn't impressed with how they handled my rest breaks this time.Murphy's No More Pies Club #209

Yeah from me too...what formaldehyde has just said is basic maintenance (for me personally it's eat; sleep; take meds) so do it hun and it'll help...and don't forget to breathe -
