I'm the reverse - people have to check I'm still breathing, I'm so still. I'm going to try the pillow between the legs thing, got loads of pillows. I read many, many years ago that sleeping with more than 1 creased the neck. My neck remains uncreased 35 years on!

  • I just got a new diagnosis today, I don't quite know how i feel.. i guess empty is an appropriate term. hmft.

    What's the new one?

  • Strangely enough, I got a new diagnosis this week as well. I am officially the proud possessor of compensatory hypothyroidism.

    I have an underactive thyroid.

Flip. There was me thinking I was just plain fat - now I have extenuating circumstances! :D

    Hope everyone's OK.

I wouldn't mind extenuating circumstances for being fat! Although the condition its self must suck.

My Dr was quite kind on her report to the DLA saying that my morbid obesity was down to PCOS and medication; but realistically I know I eat too much and do too little exercise, that's all :(

Funnily enough, they found another contributory factor for my overwhelming fatigue, a few weeks ago. I never thought to mention it here, but - officially - I can add iron-deficiency anaemia to the (never-ending it seems! =P) list.

  • Does that mean more meds for you Trialia?

Unfortunately it looks like it's going to be a loooooooooooong time before I get my own place because Sanctuary Hereward (the housing association here) won't even consider me for sheltered housing or adapted flats because they're 'designed' for over 55's - They have no provision for any one under that age who heeds that kind of housing.

Yep - iron supplements twice daily. It's not a huge addition.

Sadly, that's the case pretty much everywhere. I don't know anywhere that has supported housing for someone under 50 who's never been committed for mental health reasons. And rarely if you have.

I told someone at work about the pillow thing, and they tried it and had less back pain today too!
