I miss the man I fell in love with but I love the man he has become, if that makes sense.
I misread that and it made no sense.:o It does now though!Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

sunnyone - beautiful words and make perfect sense:)
Well, now have my extra stair rail fitted, raised loo seat, bed rail and head rest and walking sticks:T
Listening to the radio today about the Blue Badge scheme.........and had a little look at the thread here about it.
I'm confused. Seemed from our local council site you have to receive HRM to get one........well if I don't end up getting that what happens about a blue badge ? I'll still be dependant on wheelchair or walking sticks. I don't drive but OH does and it would make life so much easier if we could park nearer to shops etc.
I won't hear about DLA for about 5 weeks so I've been told.........:(
Does seem that different councils vary
Oh well, can't win em all.............:)I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

I rang the local housing association today and they're going to send out an application form.
I don't quite know how it happened and it's incredibly scary to think about moving out, but I might actually do it.. maybe.0 -
We got the forms from the council and our doctor filled it in and my husbands blue badge was delivered a couple of weeks latter.
We have just come back from the doctors, my husbands creatine level has shot up and he can barely keep his eyes open, we can put off dialasis for a week or so but if it dosnt come down he will have to start it next week.
His levels have been steady for months, I cant understand why its suddenly shot up, he eats and drinks only what is on the "safe" lists we were given at the pre-dialasis assessment, nothing else and I moniter all his drugs so hes definatly taking them all and when he should take them too.0 -
Would stress or the recent stroke impact them in any way?
I know if my stress levels go up too much, my kidneys start playing even more silly beggers than usual. We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.0 -

I get similar issues - if I become stressed, my guts play up. If I have a cold, the first sign is a bloody nose.Sealed pot challenge #232. Gold stars from Sue-UU - :staradmin :staradmin £75.29 banked

Oh soolin I'm so sorry for your loss. I hope you get through it as best you can; and remember that bereavement is totally personal, don't let anyone tell you how or for how long to grieve.
My dad thought I was so harsh because I didn't cry when either of my grandparents died (I did at the funerals) but what he didn't understand is that I grieved for them when they each had 'an episode' and became completely different people to who I knew and loved, they just existed for 6 months before they passed, even though I visited when I could I was already grieving about the loss of the people they used to be; but he didn't see that either because he was never around, he coped with the sitation by burying himself in other things.0 -
Soolin I am so very sorry. May his journey be a peaceful one. (((HUG)))If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0
