thanks KM...I just follow what the plan says and if I bite it I write it.I don't cheat as the only person that I'd be cheating is myself.
Am going away for 5 days so don't know whether I'll lose anything next week as I can't weigh stuff so will have to guess but I'll probably do a fair bit of walking.

I'm totally in awe of your weight loss. :T:T

Sorry you've got lymphedema. A friend of mine had it and I just texted her and she sent me the link to the site she felt explained it best.

    Here

She also says don't go surfing through the site as she did and scared herself silly. :rotfl: Not bad speed of communication given that she is in Canada and the response came in 10 minutes. The other thing she said was that it enabled her to think through her questions and at least sound intelligent - which gave her confidence quite a boost and meant she was not intimidated when the consultant tried to brush off her worries (I quote) 'by treating me like a little woman and giving me a verbal pat on the head, telling me not to worry! H*ll, of course I'm going to worry! I've had cancer for G**s sake - but it was in my boob, not my brain. I will never, ever again accept the Doctor Knows Best argument. Tell your friend to make absolutely sure she understands what they tell her or she'll fret and that will do her no good at all. Any more queries, just let me know - I'm trying to pay forward on this so the experience is not wasted. Many people helped me so now it's my turn.'

If anything turns up, do post or pm. She's an old school friend - which means we've been friends for 50 years come Sept and I know she means the offer.

Good luck. I don't often post but have followed your journey with admiration.

    xx Tricia
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Lovely! The holiday, the weight loss, the walking you're going to be able to do - this is wonderful, Taxi, I'm so pleased you're getting away. Have a lovely, lovely time.
