Glad you liked Hebden Bridge. Were you at the clinic yesterday or have I got the dates wrong?
But how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?

Thanks everyone...it was lovely to get away as hadn't been away for a year.Am glad DH has agreed to have some time off as he could do with the break as he works so hard and has had to go through the treatment with me.

Got weighed this morning and have put 3.5lbs on..oops.

Tricia...you are right I was due to be at Lymphodema clininc yesterday at 2pm...well there is a story here...got off the train at 12 noon to be met by DH who then said "WHAT'S THAT ON YOUR TOP?" I looked down to find a rather large wet patch and was puzzled as hadn't even had a drink on train so no chance that I'd spilt it.Got home and stripped off to find it had come from my nipple on bad booby...so paniced and phoned my BCN who said under no circumstances was I to go to that appointment(she phoned them to cancel it) and was instead to go to the hospital and see her and my surgeon at 2pm.They came to the conclusion that it was the cellulitis from the infection coming out and that I still probably have an infection so need to take the antibiotics again and see what happens and if it doesn't settle to ring up and see them again..once it's settled then I can go to lymphodema clinic..so it's just wait and see at the minute ...at least it isn't as painful as a couple of weeks ago.

Sorry to hear that. At least it means you got the right advice quickly - though I can imagine it was a shock when you saw it. Hopefully the antibiotics will clear it quickly so you can get the Lymphodema sorted quickly.

    Hiya Taxi,

great that you enjoyed your time away & even better that you're going away together for a break where you can both relax.

Do hope your infection clears up soon, that must have been very frightening.

    xx

Sounds like you had a fantastic time Taxi, but  to your scare on getting back! So glad to hear that it turned out to be comparatively minor in the grand scheme of things!

South Devon is lovely - I take it there will be day trips off to various places while you are there? If there is one to Dartmouth/Kingswear then jump at it as Dartmouth is a lovely town for an explore - you can do a circular trip from Paignton too involving the river/train & open topped bus.
