Thanks everyone...I may or may not lose weight next week as I'm just going to take things as they come and eating /doing what I fancy and after all slim people over indulge sometimes but the key is to get back on it...lol
That's true: one slice of chocolate cake is not the end of the world, but it's tempting to chuck in the towel and have another! Please call me 'Pickle'

Absolutely - I'm fairly slim still, and I gave myself sugar poisoning on Sunday, I ate such big slices of cake  I find that I want to have *more* carp after eating carp like that, so I tend to drink lots of water to flush the taste, sort of thing. Which also gets rid of said toxins :j
Main thing is to enjoy! You're definitely on the right track, thats obvious from looking at your sig, and from what you've said you find the new WW system easy to use - even if you have a blip, you'll carry on when you get home (note: thats not "starting again", its "carrying on") - you've got the attitude exactly right with your post just before midnight last night, go have a ball:cool::j:beer:;):T:A

Have a great time at Hebden Bridge. It's a lovely little town. Quite compact so not a lot of walking. We're off home tomorrow - about 13 miles from there but will not be going to the festival as there will be quite a lot of sorting out to do as we've been in Shropshire for over 3 weeks and we are off on Sunday to meet DS1 and his family on the A1 as they drive up to Edinburgh from 'down sarf'.
I'm glad that the website was useful. I'm sure the key to keeping control of the situation is to know what questions to ask.
I'll be looking forward to an account of the festival and will keep following this diary. I know you thought of letting it go but I think you underestimate the influence you have and also I, personally, would point anyone who faced breast cancer to your diary for a positive but realistic account of the journey. Well done, you! :T:TBut how can you know what you want till you get what you want and you see if you like it?0 -
Will be setting off at lunch time and it's a straight through train which only takes just over an hour...so that's a bonus...will meet my SIL at the station as she's coming from London.
Poor DH will be staying here working.
Had my hair trimmed and coloured yesterday so that it's not grey and white and feel better for that.
Received my appointment for lymphodema clinic yesterday and it's for 2pm on wednesday so will get a train an hour earlier than I'd originally planned.
Have a good weekend everyone xxxx0 -
that's a lovely thing to say Tricia..thank you xxx0

Am back and had a great time with SIL.Did plenty of walking ..well a lot for me anyway and just chilled out.
I've just booked a break for DH and I to Torquay for 8 days for the 16th june as I'm sure DH needs a break..we are going on one of those coach holidays so that he doesn't have to drive and can totally relax.
Have done most of the washing since I got back and am tired now.0 -
Glad you had a lovely time, and got the holiday bug! The out-laws use these bus trips all the time and have amazing breaks away, good food, lots to see and lots of laughs. One small step for ME, one giant leap for my family!
