Champagne £5 at Asda - misprice ... quick!!!

Very strange, placed order last night, checked out and got order number. Waited in for delivery between 8-10pm tonight which has not turned up!!!!!!!! On checking website my order is now showing that I need to book a delivery slot but then gives this message

Sorry, we've had a technical error and your delivery slot couldn't be booked. Please try again a bit later.

Went into asda swindon this eve and they had 8 on the shelf so i asked for a price check and was told they were showing at full price...i personally put them back on the shelf...i got home and rang the store and was told they were oos!!!...either some customer got lucky after me but i think it more likely that the asda worker made off with them! Grrrr

As previously posted, I bought 6 bottles tonight at £4:95 even though sel stated £24 plus! full price! if you check asda site under drinks, champagne, and view more types under brand, dubois caron comes up at between £4 to £6 pounds. It is not for sale on site but it looks like it has not yet been updated in stores to full price! Anyone who sees this on shelf at £24 plus should try scanning it at self serve tills to see actual price hopefully £4:95, Goodluck!

I had a call this morning from the distribution depot (Slough) telling me that they were OOS and they could only substitute for sparkling wine. I asked why they couldn't substitute for another champagne and they said they weren't allowed to at that price. Ah well.

Just had my delivery dropped off, was told there was one substitution, so thought 'oh, one bottle, thats good'. Checked order and realised they have delivered one bottle short, and it has ALL been subed for Asti.

i had my delivery at 11 yesturday, (thanks op), but then at about 8 last night i had a call frrom asda asking if my order was ok? he said that thier had been very high demand for this product so they were ensuring customer satisfaction??????????????????????? i told him the 5 bottles of substitute wud be going back but the rest was ok,, im not sure what he was up to. but im sure its not customer satisfaction!??

Prices have went back up I just went to the Edinburgh Chesser branch and they had the SEL still on the shelf at £4.97 but there was none left.
Went to Customer Services and the girl couldnt believe it, she checked stock and there was none at Chesser but called the Leith branch and they had some but they told the girl it was back to £24.21 per bottle as of today.

Well done to the peeps who managed to get some. xx

Just had the call. OOS and was wrongly priced so no delivery. I just accepted it.
