OK, I bought the store's display model for £12 without knowing anything about breadmakers. No box, no instructions and the sales guy said it wasn't supposed to have any accessories with it. Turns out this is not the case, so now I've got a breadmaker without the paddle, hook thing or measuring cups. I've found some listings online for these parts, but they're all saying 'not available to order'. I'm hoping you kind people might be able to help me with a few questions:

    - This kneading paddle on Amazon has reviews from people saying it fits the Tesco machine, which appears to be the same as this one. Can someone look at the link and tell me whether the paddle in the pic looks the same as the one in your breadmaker? ---> http://www.amazon.co.uk/Morphy-Richards-48260002-Machine-Kneading/dp/B00188BO2G

Sorry to quote myself but I think I'm going to go ahead and buy this kneading paddle/blade...before I do, could someone be kind enough to let me know whether they think it will be fine to use this machine without the pulling hook & cups?

I'm guessing I could make my own hook thing and that the cups have standard measurements (millilitres?) on them, but a second opinion would be great and thanks in advance...

I've got a loaf in just now so can't check if this would work right now but how about a crochet hook? I'm pretty certain it'll work. As for the cup, it has mls fl ozs and cup measurements so it just does the same job as a jug.

Chia, you would only need the paddle - you could easily make a hook or just do what I did and carefully slice the bottom crust and ease away.

I'm sure it would be fine without the measuring cups, they are just standard measurements. I imagine kj is right, a crochet hook should work for getting it out. My paddle came straight out of my loaf so not sure, but worst case scenario you could just cut around the paddle?

I've still to use mine, but hope to over the weekend. I think I will start with bread mixes to begin with, probably a safer bet for me. Lots of great info on this thread to help, thanks.

BTW, someone is selling one on ebay for £19.99 and can be picked up free from Nottingham. It may help someone.
