Would never buy one, not only are the engines cr*p they look horrible
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I think they're dead cute. One drove past me the other (I was walking) and it was the cutest looking thing ever.
OP, let us know if you get oneLove the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble their joy, don't harrass them, don't deprive them of their happiness.0 -
Dear oh dear, banging your head on brick walls really seems to have done you some irretrievable damage.
No just still got a grasp on reality, unlike anyone that buys this painted turd.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -
The cabriolet looks fun too, though it isn't really an open top. More of a roof that slides partially back.0

Or (as I outlined above), just take notice of the bits that suport your prejudices:rotfl:
I assume you mean support!!!!!!!
As quoted :- 'it doesn't help that many so many owners complain about the quality and reliability of their cars.'
I rest my case, happy in the knowledge that I will never own a Fiat.:D0 -
I've owned a Fiat, not a 500, one was the Tempra, the other was the 500's successor the 126. Both superb cars, both good to drive, and both totally reliable.
I fancy the 500 Abarth as a fun car to have.
Did you just say the fiat 126 was a fantastic car?
Jueeees, we bought one of those for out daughter 15 years ago, to get her onto the insurance ladder.
Even back then she refused to drive it. (and I would too)
She did drive it eventually. One day a plug cap came off. We live on a very long steep hill. It took her yonks to get up the hill one 1 cylinder with all the school kids jeering.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

I love them, I've wanted an Abarth since I first saw one but not in a financial situation where I can afford one at the moment, remember it is a mini Ferrari!
With regards to reliability, I owned a Clio 182 for two years, most people would say Renault have a poor reputation for reliability but it never let me down, mind you when I came to selling it it did sound like the power steering pump might of been on the way out.0 -

So as per my previous post (perhaps you didn't read), in the same JD power survey owners raved about the Panda. Some peoples prejudices are hard to understand:rotfl:
Incidentally, Richard Hammond has just purchased a white convertible, that might put more people off owning one!!0 -
The new beetle looked good, because ther old one did.
The new Mini looked good, because the old one did.
The Fiat looks crap, (fanfare someone), becaurse the old one did
No issuesI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Just as are some peoples willingness to defend the indefensible and insist in recommending and supporting a make of vehicle that has a bad reputation and poor reviews for both quality and reliability over the years, also notice this rave about the Fiat 500Unfortunately reliability wasn't up to scratch: the 500 suffered a high number of mechanical problems, with odd noises coming from underneath the car. The hands-free Blue&Me Bluetooth system also caused headaches.
Though have to agree with your second paragraph.:rotfl:0
