I don't mean to be rude but I think it might be worth going with the school supplier on these items. They're obviously hard to find. I think if the school has chosen to have such obscure uniform and you get it elsewhere then what you get may be subtley different and cause your child to stand out which the child and the school probably won't like. Even if you do find another source for the stuff its so obscure it's going to go at a premium wherever you buy it. I'd stick a request on your local freecycleas , even if you want one new jumper, you could get some second hand stuff for spares. Also approach anyone you know who has children already at the school. My sons have way expensive uniform (e.g. grey socks with yellow bands at £5.50 a pair, just forked out for 10 pairs  ) but we've sourced some pe kit spares from people I work with with kids higher up the school.0

Hi
Is this a private school?0 -
Someone posted on my local freecycle for uniform items for one of the local private or grant maintained schools - and later posted a 'thank you', so I guess someone out there had what she wanted. Might be a good way to strike up converstaion with other mums, etc too to keep in touch for future swaps or passing on of outgrown items.0

PS AM a bit surprised by the leather satchel as most schools nag kids to wear properly fitting rucksack style bags these days, to avoid back problems. Or is it just an attache case for music etc ? - might be worth having a word with school or other mums for advice as to whether the requirements are rigid. Would be terrible to pay £50+ for something that only new 1st years would ever be seen walking around with!
Good luck with it all, anyway!0 -
Yes I know, only 3 weeks into the holidays and I am thinkin about BTS. Came across this website
www.uniform-direct.com/acatalog/Name_Tapes.html
you can get 20 personlised iron on name tapes for £2.00 free delivery.:j0 -
I haven't used this company but find in general with iron on tapes that they tend to come unstuck after a few washes, and even quicker if you put clothes in Tumble Dryer so they are not very practical for me.0
