my town doesn't have bhs or debenhams, so i'll look next time i see one elsewhere thanks savvy! he's fussy about the feel of the material and how it hangs, how it touches his other clothes etc. so i can't just buy online, have to try things on. when he grows up he says he'll be a chav because they get to wear clothes that feel like pyjamas all day :rotfl:
jules i don't like ironing the cheap ones either, and he doesn't like buttoning them up. the school sell polos and sweatshirts with the logo added but theirs are the cheap ones too.52% tight0 -

PE kit,was bought from School Supplier, white shirt £7 and rugby shirt £14 with school emblem..very reasonable but still the most expensive, cheapy trainers for indoor PE from Wynsors £5,and Footy boots from S&Soccer £8

Any ideas where I can get uniform, particlularly skirts and trousers for my eldest daughter as she is very tall,( 5 foot 6 inches) has size 8 shoes and has a fuller figure than many her age (13).
I always struggle around this time of year to find anything that fits as the many places don't appear to take account of the fact that many young people are not 'average' size.

My eldest daughter is 11 and is 5ft 8 tall, takes a size 14 and a bra size of 36D. I managed to get some trousers today which looked just like school trousers from QD's in a size 16 (because she likes them roomy) for £4.99 and a white blouse in a 14 from New Look for £4.99. My youngest daughter is 9 and measures 5ft 4 and takes a size 12 so next week I'll buy for her too.2008 Comping ChallengeWon so far - £3010 Needed - £230Debt free since Oct 20040

My 9 year old is 5' 6" and a size 4 so I have to buy clothes to fit her length but they inevitably don't fit her waist, so it's a good job I'm handy with the old needle and thread!
I always get my girls uniforms from the next sale, and they sell the 33" leg trousers I need so it's happiness all round.
