Thanks IF, I have just had a PM pointing me in the right direction :) The first ones were posted before I was told that BR was my only option.

    script strikes again:cool:

Already said it once, there is a limit to how many questions one poster should need to ask, script passed that a long time ago.........., and strangly went quiet after i asked why?/????

I am sorry if I asked too many questions.

I've tried to explain the reasons - my first post on this thread explained why and expressed my sincere thanks.

    And here

    https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/2175587

I've always said that I am personally going B/R and that I have helped 2 friends and a friend of a friend. (2 were too anxious to log onto the forum and ask themselves - the other didn't have a computer or internet access).

This equals 7 seperate people all with their own worries and concerns and questions. All the bankruptcies were different. One was a partnership bankruptcy.

I have usually but maybe not always said "I'm asking this on behalf of a friend..."

I've explained about my job and that I'll lose it when I do petition - which is why I am waiting to get a new job before I go bankrupt.

I've mentioned that I am scared stiff of bankruptcy and have become a bit ocd about the whole thing.

And when I think of a question even though it may or may not directly apply to me - somehow I feel "compelled" to know the answer.

The fact that I will be going bankrupt has almost taken over my entire life and somehow it just helps me to know everything that is involved.

Although I have taken a few breaks from the forum due to work hours.

I do different shift work in a courier despatch office and can only use a computer when I am home.

Many of my posts have not asked questions - but based on the knowledge I've gained I've been able to answer other peoples questions.

This was my way of giving something back for all the help I've received.

I may, have asked the same question twice - I have dial up internet and it can take ages to load the pages and check if I have.

I am sorry if I have asked more than my "quota" of questions - I honestly didn't know there was a quota.

I do not wish in anyway to upset anybody and if you prefer I can leave the forum and not ask or answer any more questions.

I thought you were one of us script. I thought you were going through what we were. You've been here as long as I have. If I was under the impression you were bankrupt it must have come from somewhere. Who cares if you ask questions on the behalf of other people. I don't. What I do care about is being mislead and I feel I have been mislead by you.

At the end of the day, no skin off my nose, just throughly annoyed that you've posted in the past pretending that your BR. Just doesn't sit right. If all you can go on about is 'sorry for using my quota' well, frankly you're missing the point.

    Again, pathetic.

I have never ever said that I am Bankrupt. (I wish I was and it was all over with...)

I have always said that I will be petitioning for Bankruptcy.

Sorry if there has been any confusion.
  • The thing you have failed to mention is why, unlike me who was also OCD about BR, you have continued to ask question after question, in some cases the same question over and over instead, as i did, reasearching and learning for yourself, from the IS site etc for example.

The problem is, as i have already stated, you could make a nice bit of money as a sideline from the info here, and some posters have.

Now you may as you claim be innoscent, but however you cut it, covering the same ground is a waste of time for those that give there time here for free, that could be better spent, and the fact i am typing this yet again enforces my point!

All this has upset me a bit - can somebody tell me what I have actually done wrong?

And I will do everything I can to put it right.

    Bat,

I have already said and explained why I may have asked the same question twice.

I don't think it's happened all that often.

And in the cases it has maybe I needed a bit more clarification - or because of my dial up internet could not find the original answer.

And how many times did I cover exactly the same ground? And for goodness sake new posters ask the same questions all the time - which is fine.

I guess I am OK with you and others suddenly being against me. All I did was started this thread thanking everyone.

But I never have and I never would ask any of my friends or anyone for any money for asking questions on their behalf.

They were friends in great need - they needed help and I was glad to help them.

Please would you retract that comment that you are inferring that I "made a nice bit of money"

It might be something you or others do but I certainly never would.
