No endorsements, no advertisements. Truelly impartial, a bloke sharing all he knows all from the goodness of his own heart. He pays for the site. So enough. Just enough about that. Attack anything you like in your defence but not that site.

This afternoon had been quiet and relaxing.

Suddenly I am "attacked" by Bat - out of nowhere - for asking too many questions over the (nearly) the year I have been here.

To my certain knowledge I have never upset anybody here, including Bat.

Bat also indicates that I may have asked the same questions twice (but hasn't actually given any examples).

He know states that I should have enough knowledge, answers and resourses not to have to ask anymore questions.

And that from his point of view I am wasting everyones time here.

    Ok.

If he is the judge and jury to all concerned then so be it (despite what he says in his sig).

You all seem to support him and in that case I will leave the forum.

I do hope this doesn't put anybody off "joining" the forum.

It would be so unfair on them.

Despite what's happened this afternoon - and I have absolutely no idea why Bat singled me out for a kicking...

Anyway I do want to thank you all for all the help, assistance and support you have given me.

And I would have been glad to stay and help answer other peoples questions - but I guess Bat would not wish that to happen

I still feel that I may need a bit more help before I do petition - but Bat seems to have declared he does not want me to get any help I need here.

Thats my misfortune but little I can do about it.

In which case Bat - why bother running your own competing forum to this one?

Just post these links and as you say we'll all have every answer we need.

I dont need too, anyone can view your previous posts.

I questioned why you asked so many questions, and you gave the same reason, for friends, the problem is if they faced BR, by the very fact you where asking here for the answers begs the question, why where they asking you, and not someone at CAB for example?

While this and my forum does its best to give the best info, it is meant to be used in conjunction with profesional advice, or at least feedback from those concered so we, the posters, know they have understood the info, the implications etc etc.

I for one am not happy giving advise to be relayed through a third party, that by your claim, has not got a clue.

Its not something you can just repeat to anyone and it be correct, as every situation is unique, if you are for real, your ignorance could do as much harm as good to your friends, and your ok with that?

As i said, grow up, thats just a childish response.

My site was never intended to compete with this one, in fact the opposite, to compliment it, as Martin has admited he can not provide a safe enviromant, as this place is just too big, so it serves to fill that gap , as we can devote the time that the MSE team simply can not, a fact i accept, and why my site exists, not to compete, just as an alternative.

And when you have finised trying to scudder my efforts at a web site, you may actually read my responses and realise, again, if your for real, why i have a problem with you 'helping' 'friends' third hand

For somebody like you Bat who seems to have forensically looked at all my posts - you of all people should know -

I have never asked for professional advice - just advice from people who had been through B/R.

I asked questions on my behalf or on my friends behalf on various aspects - sometimes peoples cases can get a little complicated.

To start with none of us knew what was really involved.

We had so much conflicting information, old wives tales and falsehoods.

The worst thing anyone can do is ask pals in the pub or wherever what happens in B/R - everybody tends to give a different answer.

I am just an average person I'm in no way academic - and sometimes I need things explained in a clear and simple way - so I understand them.

People in the forum were so helpful and gave the clear answers that we needed.

    I always thanked them.

These answers were so helpful and reassuring and in many cases put an end to many sleepless nights.

I did express my friends sincere thanks when they petitioned and had their interview and all went well.

There were times rather than bother people with questions that we looked at the publications from the IS. Other times in the OR' tech manual.

Although sometimes I didn't seem to "get" the answer and needed more clarification.

Again I was never ever paid for helping people with their B/R - I was just glad to help, and get the knowledge and details that I may need myself.

One friend did give me a bottle of scotch as a thank you.

If I could I would share it all with you all.

As that's not possible I'll open it after I've petitioned and had my interview.

Friends don't have cases, they have circumstances.
