Went in a new store today where the policy isn't on display behind CS...it's on the end of an aisle opposite the checkouts.
And it looks like someone else is trying to claim a R+R on an expired leaflet as I am on my travel insurance (but the thread has jumped 10 pages since I last read it yesterday:eek: , so don't know the full details.) Let me know how you get on and I'll do the same...my letter went off 2 days ago, so am awaiting a reply with baited breath.0 -
have i got this right??
lets say for arguments sake i went to buy a phone at tesco after seing it advertised on the tesco website for £20 and when i bought it i was charged £25 for it would that warrant a r+r??They've got cars big as bars
They've got rivers of gold

The other night two people parked by my house and put jackets and and started walking towards the house, my heart was in my mouth as had a spare room full of tesco bags which are filled with books, alcohol, selcetion boxes, games etc.
I thought i was gonna be raided.haha
had a dream last night that when i was in tesco getting another refund they used this machine to print out my statements and kept them and had over 100 pages off refunds!!
Think i'm sufferring from Tescoextraritus...[/QUOTE]
My pile or STASH as I prefer to call it...... consists of selection boxes, books and beer (the chicken is crammed in my freezer)........

:rotfl: :rotfl: We've considered getting extra locks fitted because of the amount of electrical gear we currently have from R+Ring. It's going to take us a while to shift it all on Ebay! I've toyed with the idea of putting some of it on the Tesco notice board, but they might not see the funny side.0 -
are the selection packs, 2 for 4 quid still R&R?0

No, you have had no instruction to check the price on the net before you purchase it.
Technically it still isn't R&R but it is cheaper for Tesco to give you R&R than face the wrath of TS and ASA. However you will almost always have to go the TS ASA route with these things as no one will want to make a decision (always someone elses fault and someone elses resposability)0 -

All the PSP, X-box, GOTW, etc had been removed.
Spotted smoked mackrel pre-packed - £7.29/kg, on offer at £4.XX - was charged higher price.
Also on the end aisle of individual sweeties - chunky kit-kat and aero, buy 3 for 89p - no discount, ful R&R.:j :j :j :j :j
Wanted to get your advice on something elsebought 5 cases of the 20 x stella bottles with out of date SEL - which was the only price indicated - of £9.98....... was charged £12.XX. The CS desk was closed, but the assistant gave me the A4 sign that had the offer price, and wrote on the back todays date and that I had been overcharged. The Team Leader, then scribbled ' only refund the difference'.
I have to go back tommorrow to get the R&R.
Am I entitled to my full R&R?
An update to my story.... relevent to....Deedee73 wrote:What a crock! If an offer expires, the promotional garb should be removed, like I have said before, if you had poor eyesight, all you would see is the offer, that's how TS will see it! The majority of R n R's are given due to expired SEL's. Me thinks this manager is peddling as fast as he can, they must have ALL been warned about leaving these things laying around!!
Tell them you will be contacting trading standards as they have advertised an offer, with tiny offer end's date, but left the bumph everywhere! Enticing you to buy!
You guys were very helpful last night. I went back this morning and was initially offered the difference on the beer, but said that that was not good enough.....(I sounded like my mother---- AHHH).... and eventually was helped by a lady higher up the management scale who said it was definately a case ofr a full R&R. :T :T :T :T :TI asked about the prepacked smoked mackrel (I know most of you would avoid it anyway  ). Had an interesting response..... the pack price was £7.92/kg, the SEL had £7.94 and another price of £4.89 on a big SEL label. Initially was refused an R&R..... 'because we don't refund for a misprice on the per kilo price'.... go figure?! I argued that there were three prices shown, all the packs had £7.92 showing, but the promo was for the cheaper price..... got a full R&R 'this time'...... not sure if central policy is changing for pre-packed and pre-priced fresh goods in the chillers.

Prices are correct at time of going to press. For the most up-to-date prices, ask in store or go to www.tesco.com
so i did and guess what i found there

just waiting on the phone call back now.........
Went to a different store armed with the website information, the manager came and the lady behind the desk checked "the website", it showed the higher price, damn my corraboration was gone as it left it as the magazine at fault. I bowed out gracefully and accepted the full refund, however having got home and done the search meself the website still goes to the link posted here. Note to self when they show you the web page do the search yourself in store eheh. it must be an intranet they use ?0 -

I haven't the confidence as yet to go for the electrical and gaming stuff.
Gonna stick to the food for the time being and leave the rest to the pro's.:beer:The most vital time to relax is when you don't have time for it.
