has anyone actually calculated their 5p off discount? I double checked mine and it was £2.20, shouldve been £2.22.

5p per full litre. Part litres don't count (see wording on the receipt).

LOL "Oh hello there, I am on my way to scan for any out of date SEL's and out of date offers, basically so I can have them for free, would you be a darling and post them on here first?"

    Sig ah Sig Ahhh
  • this makes me smile more though...
If you need to call a taxi look out for the free phones provided in some stores. Ask in store for help.

Excuse me, do you have any of those free phones or do I have to look for mispriced ones myself?

    Thanks Deedee for the reply!!

But unfortunately my case hans't gone as smoothly as yours, the manager at my store clearly refused it and it seems customer services are saying the same!!

What exactly are my rights .... the store manager claimed it wasn't breaking the law and therefore he didn't have to honour the store policy (because the store policy doesn't apply when there is an expiry date shown, no matter how small, and therefore misleading the pricing matter).

Report him to Trading Standards. He is breaking the law by displaying misleading price indications. Contact CS until you speak to someone who is more....understanding. Some of them up in Dundee need retraining!

    Thanks for the info Sopplayer.

looks like they have changed the wording slightly, which helps me since they were arguing that the price promise was only if the overcharge was on the product or the SEL, not posters, leaflets etc.

And if things don't add up • In the unlikely event that we overcharge you we will give you your money back and you can keep the product.
Look after the pennies and the £££s will look after themselves

Go for it. I got a decent phone out of them due to that poster. They are breaking the law by leaving up that POS. It's not the customer's responsibility to check the small print, especially when you consider the size of the font used to advertise the offer! If you have any problems, ring CS.

If anyone knows be gratefully appreciated,Ta.

They were posted a few days ago, going out at £4.95 instead of £3.73......

......I tried yesterday and all three new books on the series are priced at £3.73 and scanning CORRECTLY. Kept the books for DS for christmas.

    Hope this helps.;)
