Bambam82 – good to hear as I just accepted the R&r on the game, which I want to take up with CS. Which email address did you use?

Would it be at all possible to actually get a copy of what you sent to them (if you still have it saved) please? As my email will be pretty much identical. thanks if so, no worries if not.

Its for DS birthday in October and I have already got console from Boots with 10% etc previously posted.

debjay - worst case is that you get an R&R on the value of the game, and keep both game and console - then take back the console for a refund as an unwanted item. I had a similar case and was worried about the wording of the poster, but HO sorted it with the store and I got the full R&R I was due. Stick to your guns girl!!! and let us know the outcome

I sent my email to customer.service@tesco.co.uk and terry.leahy@tesco.com

joshtbh - I have PM'ed you the letter I sent as I don't want to clutter up the thread as it was quite a long letter. If anyone else needs to see the letter, just PM me & I will forward a copy onto you.

I am still waiting on THE call from CS. I called 2 hours ago again and was told that they are waiting on speaking to the store manager as to why the policy was not adhered to.
I am hoing they call soon as dont want DS to hear call as its for his birthday next month so want it kept a surprise really.

There is no need to mention this site or where you obtained the names from, nor is there any reason to deny or hide the fact you use the site, nothing you have done is unlawful. To the best of my knowledge there have been no unsuccessful pleas to head office regarding the xboxes.

Just wanted to add to the x-box hopefuls that my sister got an x-box recently after HO/CS? intervention. :j She had returned the x-box on the day of purchase after being refused an R&R, but went in and picked up her x-box this week. Keep on trying!

I've only managed a few R&R's this week on expired SEL's, but am looking forward to going on holiday to a new area and lowering my profile at home! How sad am I?! :rotfl:

Thanks Ben. Mine was on the mobiles 10% off, I couldn't find the Xbox offer :rolleyes:
Has everyone else been successful with the mobiles once head office has had a letter?
