On the priceing requirement the prices must be displayed clearly also so all the PSP games in the chart fail on this point as they are packed so close together due to the size that the big disk in a blob that stick out from the shelf actually covers most of the price SEL.mindysouthern wrote:WELLLLL..... same happened to me I called store to see if item was in stock, it was... went to store... purchased item... they realised was overcharged and suddenly item had 'sold out' when they went to get it... The trick with this is to never mention you have been over charged until you have the item under your arm. If you indicate you will be pushing for the item free then all the need to do is say they dont have it and issue with a refund.0 -

Im going to take it further, its totally wrong, ive got my receipt that shows the items going through and then a total then a supervisor 'voided' the transaction but the receipt shows the sale so it is VERY misleading, especially as I travelled 20 miles to the store on the premis that they were in stock, a manager had checked for me around 30 mins prior to me going in. I said I called and they were in stock and they told me 'well they must have all sold out now', the cashier even commented that he had seen NONE of that item going through a till so couldnt explain their 'sudden rush...':happylove !!NEW AND JUST LEARNING!! :happylove0 -

Sorry, my post was Tesco-like in its ability to mislead, I suppose. No, they unfortunately don't have the same policy. It was when the new catalogue had just been released and they had cocked up the pricing on a set of Sony mp3 speakers that fit the Sony 'ipods' that my lads own. They listed the docking station at £99.99 and the speakers at £29.99! Paid for 2 of the speaker sets and the docking stations were placed on the counter in front of me. I never touched them so never in my possession, just showed the SA the catalogue and the actual product I had ordered. 20 mins later I walked out with the speaker sets for £29.99 each (instead of £99.99 each) and my lads, as you can imagine, were well chuffed...:D

Did quickly scan through the thread but me eyes are so tired, lol ! Apologies if you've been asked this a thousand times already.
From an early post, it's stated that one or two scanners are situated within each store ? Are these scanners for public use or are they meant to be for staff but you just have to have the guts to use them yourself ?0
