Yes - but the difficulty comes in deciding who are the idiots and who aren't!Any threads by idiots/that have descended into idiocy could be closed easily
They did this in the Aylesbury store - there were loads of games on shelf with no stickers or SELs at all, and no scanners in store anyway. Some of my local stores simply took the offending label off and put all the games back on the shelf with no price sticker on at all.You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
They are intended for the use of customersarushofblood wrote:Did quickly scan through the thread but me eyes are so tired, lol ! Apologies if you've been asked this a thousand times already.
From an early post, it's stated that one or two scanners are situated within each store ? Are these scanners for public use or are they meant to be for staff but you just have to have the guts to use them yourself ?

Thanks ben500
So it wouldn't look odd if you couldn't find the things and had to ask a memeber of staff ? ( Sorry, new to this Tesco lark but sounds a right load of fun !!

They are relatively easy to spot, they are almost always situated on pillars which are usually white and the machines themselves are Tesco blue.arushofblood wrote:Thanks ben500

But at the end of the day you just get your money back, which is no skin off their noses.they have still overcharged you and you are still entitled to a refund, if they cannot find the goods then unfortunately for them they have to give you a further refund for YOUR missing goods. You don't get medals for sitting in the trenches.0 -
No that's not quite right, here is the scenariobiglugs wrote:But at the end of the day you just get your money back, which is no skin off their noses.
I buy a 360superdeluxeeggsbocks megahardrivejoypadnowires thingy for £250 but all I have at the checkout is a plastic dvd case with a barcode on it no 360superdeluxeeggsbocks megahardrivejoypadnowires thingy just the little plastic box, however once having paid I now own the said 360superdeluxeeggsbocks megahardrivejoypadnowires thingy it is my property and what's more I notice I have been overcharged by 15p so I go to CS counter and I claim my refund and replacement, so £250 goes back on my card and I get the 360superdeluxeeggsbocks megahardrivejoypadnowires thingy to take home, only trouble is they don't actually have a 360superdeluxeeggsbocks megahardrivejoypadnowires thingy left in stock so they have to now give me another refund to put me back in the position I was before they lost my property. Unless of course they order me a new 360superdeluxeeggsbocks megahardrivejoypadnowires thingy
