Back from a run - went really well, much better than last night and a dog walk to cool down a bit. 500+kcal burnt off so far.

Just debating a low cost shop that I can carry home with me.

Very grey and overcast here today with light mizzle when I come back I might not have time to do much in the garden today afterall as there's a film I'd like to watch and I want to take Mr Dog out for a longish walk this afternoon before the fireworks start

Instead I'll do a little bit of housework and concentrate on the garden tomorrow instead

Complete change of plans as the rain has been coming down for the last 2hrs heavily

    Gardening is off
Drove to the supermarket instead of walking - will be getting soaked later on if the rain doesn't stop anyway
Meaning hunt for fabulous mascara etc didn't happen today

Thought to myself as I am not buying a new dress to go out in or for the Christmas do, nor new shoes or bag or coat I can treat myself to a new mascara and maybe lipstick or gloss and maybe a foundation or not.

So yes, I stocked up on the half price shampoo and conditioner in Mr S and also got a holiday size brunette set to try and then another holiday set which will come in superhandy

Here we go then with the costs for today
    Shampoo £4.53
    Conditioner £1.74
    Travel sizes £3.22
    Hair mask sachet 63p
Styling £5.59 - disappointingly thought this was half price but went through at full price and only just noticed - boo!
    Total = £15.71

That's enough to keep me going for the next 3mths at least I think.Quite pleased with this overall as the days have gone now where I would pay £20+ for a shampoo and again for conditioner. Plus I'm as pleased with how these make my hair feel as the more expensive ones do. I just have to make sure they don't contain any of the ingredients I cannot use

Cotton wool - 88p on 2 lots - again lowest price possible for this and is there any difference between this and the higher prices - no!

    Now onto food and drinks
    Food - £22
Fruit, veg, milk, tins, frozen fish, winter tinned tomato on offer stocks and splashed out £1.70 on a stir fry mix for tonight

    Drinks
Cartons for work and uni 18 x £2.50
    6 cans Coke Zero £2
    Ribena £1.41
    Total £5.91

Cartons will keep me going for the next few weeks and work out at 14p each (even though the price has just gone up by 9p 1p per carton)
Fromage frais for work 8p each
Chocolate mousse for when need a chocolate fix after tea 8p each

Trying to keep work lunches as low cost as possible
    So far
    drinks 9p
    fromage frais 8p
    soup approx 60p
fruit 40p for around 4-5 pieces per day
    Total = £1.17

Add in odd pack of low fat crisps (26p) or cereal oat bar (19p) to take it to approx £1.60 a day

Cost for the week = £8.10

Even though this looks more to me than I thought I take a lot of food every day for this and most people go off to the mahoosive Mr T's for lunch and come out with way more than lunch. I take my lunch every day to keep me out of there and to stop spending money in there as we often talk about how we go in for a sandwich and come out having spent £20+

Even if I bought their meal deal everyday or a ready meal cost would be around £12.50 a week

Over a month the difference is eat way more fruit and homecooked food and spend £32.40
Don't take any fruit in and buy everything on the day and spend at least £50 per month

Never thought about it that way before, brings it home a bit there

I finally worked out how to make the flour small pre packs to work in the BM to produce a nice white loaf for today - at last! Having a fish finger sandwich for dinner today and sod the kcal allowance. It's cold, grey damp and miserable and if I eat another bowl of old soup I'll go sulky! Will have to sling the stuff in the fridge thats left over - been made way too long now - there's plenty in the freezer to keep me going for next week

Just about to settle down with a glass of red, make lovely stir fry for tea and watch Strictly

Took Mr dog on a soggy afternoon long walk meaning the total kcal burnt off today comes to over 800kcal - now not feeling too guilty at going over by 300kcal of food.

Haven't done much else and its nice to have a pretty lazy day overall - did remember to pay the holiday deposit just in time, phew. Looking forward to it already! Tidied all shopping away and stuff off the table. Also one lot of washing attempting to dry running gear ready for tomorrow morning now!

Also had a little play with an eyeliner just to see which one looks best and with what shadow. I only wear a light neutral shade for work and weekends and am a bit out of practice with the smokey eye look! Might have a look for a suitable outfit tomorrow

Shall I go for grey dress with exposed zip at the back, fancy tights, purple booties or black suede mary jane heels? Or
Blue and black patterned dress, maybe try a thin waist belt in black patent and then same shoes and tights as above

Jewellery will be black pearl drop earrings, maybe matching black pearl necklace if it suits the dress and I'll dig a handbag out from somewhere that will do!
might have to try everything on to see how it looks once I find a suitable make up look too. Because, I will look sparklingly fabulous on that night, oh yes I will!

Tomorrow will be running, hopefull gardening and tidying up then some flying around the house with a hoover and finally a little bit of reading for Mon.

Made it out for run, later than usual and lots of runners out there too in the morning sunshine and blue sky. Very hard work though, almost ran out of energy by the end and its a long time since I felt like that. Maybe bran flakes don't have quite enough fuel? Anyway feel better now after 2 recovery slices of toast and marmalade!

    Planning a fabby day

    Sunday Fab Plan
    Hair pre-treatment and hair mask
    Manicure
    Pedicure
Full cleanse, exfoliate and face mask followed by face oil and moisturiser

Right now I feel better at last I think I'll make a start in the garden and plant some bulbs. After I've found a lamb shank recipe for tonight, yum! Although does fling me way over the kcal allowance line today. Never mind, back on track next week with lots of fish and veg to eat. Freezer clearance continues and is going well. Pasta to tackle next, how to use this up without going over the kcal allowance. Let me see if I can!

    Fab plan achieved!

Also planted up the bulbs for Christmas gifts and put the rest in pots for spring alongside more viola and pansy planting for winter and spring colour. Winter preps in the garden are almost complete. Just waiting for the geraniums to finish flowering and a couple of baskets to plant up. Another bag of leaves today for leaf mould making it 3 now.

A big tidy up outside too and leaves a bit more to do next weekend and nearly all is done!

Zoomed around the housework today and WM changeovers attempting to dry off outside and another 2 lots to try again tomorrow.

Ran this morning and walked this afternoon for an hour at sunset with Mr Dog and it was very still out there as the sun went down and the moon was high at 4.30pm.

A lovely tea of lamb shank and veg. Back on kcal couting tomorrow with fish and veg all week and another set of long walks tomorrow meaning a day off running. might go back out again on Tues or Wed.

Went for a run after work. Was determined to go even though my nose had been running non stop all day. Having a couple of days off now. Pretty sure it will clear up as I feel fine apart from a coldy nose.

Not much else to report yet and will be back another day this week
