    Get walking stuff ready
    [STRIKE]Sterilise flasks and bottles etc[/STRIKE]
Do some more pickling, jellying, jamming etc
    [STRIKE]
    Wash kitchen floor
    Nip round with hoover
    Spray boots
    Find a walk
    Parcel up returns
    Tidy up post and recycling

    Aim for a NSD today[/STRIKE]

I did get a NSD - 14/15 now for August :D one more to get on Tuesday to reach the target

Had a big tidy up and cleaned the kitchen which looks much better now. Also lots of washing suffling around on the line to get 4 lots dry (first dry day in ages today).

    What's left to do?

Just finish getting walking stuff together and take the dog for a long walk. Might also do HHI when I get back

Had a marvellous day out walking in the wonderful autumnal weather - great day very enjoyable :D

Didn't have to spend any pennies either making it a NSD and I met my target! 15/15 - first time in months I've done this and I'm very pleased :j

Calorie counting wise meant I went 700 over the limit but burnt off an additional 800 so evens it out to balance out - hope so anyway!

A day out in the fresh air way up on a ridge blew off the cobwebs and cheered me up no end and I'll be planning a longer walk again in a couple of weeks time - yeah!

  • Glad you had a lovely walk!

    Congrats on the 15 nsd's!

Had lovely visitors here, slowly catching up on your diary. Foods gone bonkers hasn't it?

    Hi Pippi,

    Food certainly has!

However I have a bag full of crab apples to sort out into something edible, 2 hugemungous courgettes to turn into something edible and a big bag of damsons - just deciding on jam or flavoured gin or both!

Nice to see you on here too!

Right I did it at long last I made the NSD target for August, I then exceeded it by a day and I'm going for a record busting 2 day target exceeding go tomorrow!

Then for September I'm going for 18 NSD and extending by 3 from August's target!

Feeling a bit down in the dumps today - first day back at work and thinking about money and a long slog with no time off. Oh well, will get back into the routine again soon and I think focussing on getting more NSD's will help matters. Who knows? I might even make it to 20 for Sept!

Well didn't make the NSD - caved in Mr T's today when had to escape the office for half an hour to clear my head for a bit and bought some cereal bars to eat in the afternoon before my run. Then my throat started to feel sore and I started to feel rubbish. No run and would have been a NSD if I hadn't gone. Nevermind, at least I made and exceeded the target for August

Collected my new trainers today ordered at the weekend - very nice, feel firm and supportive which is good and makes me wonder how bad mine have got with all the wear. They were a good price too with free del which in reality meant driving to collect them from the depot still at least they are here safe and sound.

If I feel better tomorrow I'll give them a run out, but better wait and see how I feel first rather than carry on and make things worse.

    Sept targets
    1. Get to running 10k with no intervals
    2. Eat from cupboards and freezer as much as possible and only buy what I possibly need - fruit, veg, milk etc. Main meals to be made up from the freezer and cupboad as much as I can
    3. NSD 18 for Sept
    4. AFD 25 minimum for Sept ( a disappointing 19 for Aug - the least in ages)
    5. Try out a circuits class in Sept
    6. Tick off some of the winter preps list
    That'll do for starters!

Felt rough this morning then after 2 paracetomols much better. Decided to go for a run which was a hard hard slog today. Wore new trainers - not too sure about them, they'll do for the miles though then aim for a new pair in 6mths time if they're still not as good as my old ones.

Discovered a quite painful blood blister on my toe which had the infection - think it was this that caused the original discomfort and its worked its way to the surface. It was under quite a lot of skin which has flaked off from the infection. Hope it is that anyway and not the new trainers work today!

Happily got NSD 1 today (17 more to go a world record)
