Tea drunk, chocolate eaten (sm bars of fudge x 2), kitchen tidied, off to so a quick 30min ironing session
Foot soaked in salt to continue to clearing of the infection - bettter nip outside too and collect some onions to dry out and lettuce leaves for tomorrow as the forecast doesn't look too great for first thing in the morning
Cheese sandwich for dinner, HM picallili or chutney and a salad to accompany - does sound nice when I write it down. Will decide on a chutney accompaniment in the morning. How exciting is life eh!
Back tomorrow after tackling some cleaning jobs after work and long dog walkfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Back to running tomorrow - yeah! foot is almost recovered back to normality. No pain and all is well apart from a small patch of darkness where the skin is healing.
Didn't manage a NSD today as needed some more dressings for my foot and some cold tablets to ward off my cold and send it on its way again.
Cleaned the oven today after work - check me out eh! And picked some pak choi and a mini courgette to chuck in the left over stir fry and rice noodles from yesterday alongide some mangetout from the garden - nice!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Just had a thought about a holiday for next year - keep saving up in the savings plan and after the masters is done then see if I can save enough for a trip to India
1) Try and time it with England's cricket tour and see if can get to a match (dream come true!)
2) Visit the Taj Majal
3) Enjoy the vibrance and culture and environment and people!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Went for a run and boy was it hard work! Very stiff legs despite stretching and warming up. Wonder if its the antibiotics that caused it. Looks like I might delay Friday's run -will see how I feel then and decide
NSD today making it 8/15 - I might actually hit my target this month for a change!
Will go for another one tomorrow too!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
I did get a NSD number 9/15 now!
Getting excited at the thought of next year's holiday - have registered with airmiles to see if I can collect some to put towards the flight and will be galloping away with clubcard points to try and get some towards it too
Legs feel ok today after yesterdays run - must have been the antibiotics which caused the heavy leg feelings
Pasta for lunch tomorrow with lots of salad and fruit to boost my energy for another run tomorrow. Also weigh in day too, don't think I have lost any more this week but 3 people told me I looked like I had lost weight from my middle and another one told me I looked very slim. Must have been the slim outfit I had on today which I couldn't get on earlier this year due to my expanded belly! Will find out on weigh day tomorrow if any more has come off and also do some measuring next week to see if anymore inches have gone!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
The fleece I ordered at the weekend arrived today and I think it's the wrong size so will be going back. Instead I have reserved two from spargos to collect tomorrow for £4.99 and £5.99 from the grabbit and then found one in mum's size somewhere else local for £6.99
The scarves I ordered are ok - not sure if they're worth keeping yet - maybe as the price was ok (£12.49)
Keep warm and active hamper buys
Fleece £4.99 + £4.99 + £6.99
Waterproof lightweight coat - £12.99
2x Olay skincare £3.98
Total - £33.94
Total for hamper - £24.97
Cost of fleece ordered before - £24.99
Not bad result there - all reduced in spargos and found the coat on offer elsewhere at double the price so pretty pleased and the winter walking hamper is almost done! Might see if my brother has a lightweight throw on waterproof and get him the men's version for the same £12.99. Just need to check the sizes first
The Olay is for the pamper hamper and one fleece is for me this winter to keep warm alongside the one I bought last year and wore around the house lots!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Collected presents after work today
Coat was £11.99 - found it at £24.99 elsewhere and its a good one for that price alone. just deciding now whether to buy my brother one for the same price while its so low and in stock. Can't really go wrong for £11.99!
My fleece is brill for £4.99 and is ready and waiting for the cold weather later on this year plus can use for walking
Brother's fleece is great too and both are in nice colours. Mine is deep pink and brother's is bright blue
Presents coming on well not too many left to get - on the look out for a hat, scarf and glove set and a then onto the bath salt concoctions!
Oh yes, also picked up a couple of reducd blueberry plants for mum for £3.99 instead of £6.99 and I'll pot them up for her to go with the rest of the gardening hamper and apple tree. Unfortunately the reduced apple tree's had all gone so couldn't get another one but never mind.
C'mon England, you're all doing well today, very enjoyable test match to list to and follow on textfinal unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Found a hat, scarf and gloves set from my brother - in a make he likes and its a good set. Not cheap but considering the coat and fleece cost less than £18 can't complain about £24.97 for these!
Winter warmer hamper for brother
Everyday waterproof jacket £12.99 (£40)
Lightweight fleece £4.99 (£16)
Hat scarf and gloves set £24.97 (£32)
Total cost £42.95 RRP £88final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Right time to work out a savings plan for the holiday next year
Firstly, how many months to go?
14 or 15
Savings plans to continue and start
£100 per month £1400 - £1500
£20 per month to continue SPC from £240 this year and then a futher £220 next year to total £460
Flights approx £500 - £700 basic costs plus taxes then the living and hotel/room costs to investigate
This will be a well earned treat after the hard slog of the masters course whcih will be finishing this time next year and is somewhere I always wanted to go to and the spex wasn't too bothered so it's about time I got off my backside, made a move towards a marvellous holiday to look forward to somewhere I always wanted to visit
Exciting!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
