Went out for a great run last night of 10k distance and really enjoyed it. Next run will be tomorrow or Thurs and aim for the same distance and then again on Sat. Glad to back in the running frame of mind after Christmas, study and colds.

Next thing to focus on is increasing the strength, speed and time and cut out the intervals to get to the point of no breaks - in no rush and a few more weeks is ok. Then when at this point will be looking to increase distance to 9miles then to 12 miles by the summer

In fact I am going to collect my bike from my mum's house and start using it again and use it for local travel when it becomes more light - felt so inspired to so some more fitness work considering how far I've some in 6mths from nothing to 10k

Study update - started a plan for the assignment then received an email for some background reading for the next module - c'mon guys, cut us some slack for a bit please! Was looking forward to my 2 week break from all of this after this assignment is submitted and now have a book to read! This is high intensity study going on!

What else is there, not too much really. CC repayments next week after min payments go out then must remember to contact V about leaving once the contract expires later this month

Just back from a 5mile run after missing the last 2 days - one of those days when its hard work, should have had a bit more to eat this morning

Have stocked up for the week and should have enough so the GC budget is going well. Better crack on with some baking, cleaning and studying today - woo hoo what a day! Off I toddle to the washing machine for the 3rd time today. Mind you will be watching the rugby/Star Wars to make it into a nice day!

Will pop back on tonight to update the budget again as will be paying some bills later on

I'm also doing the washing machine relay today, inbetween the reading & garden avoidance ... too windy.

I also have to do some baking & slowcooker meal planning, rugby & Starwars sounds excellent, my day off sounds very similar to yours !

Also managed to put a skirt back down in M+S reduced to £15 from £35. Felt tempted then thought will I wear it? Really? What do I have to go with it? Decided against it after this and managed to stick to buying mum's birthday present instead

Good job I'm on the challenge otherwise I might have caved in!

Now I'm weighing up the pros and cons of buying half a pig for freezing - might go for it when I empty the freezer out over the next few weeks

Well just baking and bit of cleaning today with some more to do tomorrow. Have just baked a cake for mum's birthday so here's hoping it turns out ok!

Put some change into various pots ready for the end of month count up to see if I can put it towards the car tax

My legs are aching bigstyle after my run today so I think I might have an early night tonight and see if they recover over night or if I have roll out and downstairs

    Leftover's week

Using up what is in opposed to binning and buying other bits for tea

Leftover chicken from chicken salad lunch into 2 portions of pie made from 1/2 lump of pastry (made from scratch!)
Leftover pork from sunday lunch into pork curry
Leftover tuna and sweetcorn out of a tin into a sandwich
Leftover cake distributed to family and friends
Leftover custard baked for a dessert

    Nice!

Leftover's week is completed! Until Sat when no doubt there'll be some more again!

Think I'd better do some bill paying and some reading again as the assignment deadline zooms up rapidly and I can't leave it as late as before. I need a rest from this, end of May and a little rest before the dissertation kicks in again

Day off tomorrow full of chores and running about and maybe just maybe a run for the first time this week

Made some gorgeous rhubarb jam this morning - a big success

Will be bill paying and debt busting later on and spending my e-vouchers from clubcard rewards on some plants :D Better get out there and make some room for them
