Now I'm even more impressed :D.

I did the first 2 years of an OU degree, but just couldnt find the space or time to continue any further so it's on hold at the moment.

Good luck with final 700 words.

    Well done :j

I used to dread doing my TMAs - loved the reading, note taking & learning, just hated the assignments as I found the required writing style so restrictive.

Enjoy your break & fill it with trying out new outfits & jewellery :D

Ta Lula - will try - got told today I looked nice at work by someone when I had my usual outfit on for work!

A bonus day all round today with NSD 11, a compliment, a good laugh, a good achievement at work and a run after work - result!

Had to downscale the run after a 6 week break but shouldn't take too long to get back up to the usual level

    Health
    1. Exercise
    • Running -run for at least 3 times per week.
    • Aiming for 10k by December
    • Current level on 10.10.10 is 5-6K
    1. Weight
    • Lose approx 7lbs for first target or if no weight loss keep track of measurements
    Financial
    1. Save for car tax
    2. Start paying off CC and work out a repayment plan
    Relationships
    1. When invited out make a decision to go instead of automatically saying 'hmm don't think I want to go'
    Attitude
    1. Remember how much better I feel when I stop drinking for months at a time
What do I want to do
    1. Weekly hair treatment
    2. 2x weekly facial exfoliate and mask treatment
    3. Long run at the weekend
    4. Do not spend all weekend cleaning, build in some activity time to do the things I enjoy
    5. Long walk with the dog at the weekend
    6. Start walking again in the countryside at the weekend
    7. Start training for LDP next year
    More me stuff
    1. Start to wear jewellry again
    2. Aim to wear a pair of earrings for work first
    3. Then add a necklace for the next week
    4. Even try a bit of makeup again
    5. Wear the clothes in the wardrobe instead of the same things all the time and get out of jeans
    6. Get GP referral for consultant
Thought I'd update where I am now compared to October 2010

Running - got up to 10k by Dec then had a 4 week break due to bad cold and virus which wouldn't go. Then uni got in the way and had to concentrate on work that needed doing so finally managed to get back out there again this week which was great. Should be back up to 10k by next week.

Its good to keep this ticking over the winter and not get out of the habit

Weight - hmm not much progress there after an enforced exercise break and lots of eating over Christmas and Jan :o Let's see how the exercise goes with the toning up plan

Financial - finally sorted out a snowbal calculator for the CC and started over payments and worked out a repayment plan. Will take approx 4 yrs to pay them off. Good to make a start and the bank agreed with my plan too which was also nice.

Car tax - £82 towards this so far so should get fairly close to it by end of Feb or not too much to put towards it anyway

    Relationships and Attitude
Well, finally went out when I was invited and enjoyed myself. Next time I'll have a go without drinking I think. I know how much better I feel without drinking and I know those big drinking nights aren't for me now. Feel confident in myself to carry this off now I reckon

What do I want to do and Me stuff
Starting some progress on this, started to wear some of the things tucked away in the wardrobe and not worry what people will say. At last I am starting to come out of my shell again. Make up is not such an issue these days as I'm more used to not wearing it and feeling ok about this rather than feeling like something missing

Also had the hospital appt for eczema, not totally sorted but better so hoping this is going to continue

A positive happy start to the year :j

    Hi there,

Just found your diary and it inspired me to start mine up again. I gave up before Christmas as things were just getting so hectic. I am a teacher and we had the dreaded ofsted looming and work just totally took over.

Haven't managed to read whole thing but seems as though you are doing very well and like you, I need to write things down to keep me focused on my goals. Now that we have had ofsted in and it has all gone ok I feel like life can resume as normal and I am looking forward to starting up my diary again and setting some goals.

I will be following your exploits etc and wish you every luck with the goals
