Finally made it out for a run a very hard work 10k after the dregs of a cold and chocolate over eating from Christmas - needed to do something to make feel more active again

Might even start that awful Shred again this week to compensate for the lack of running time - need to take some deep breaths to cope with that one again! This is part of my plan to never pay for a gym membership ever ever again and to make use of what I have, sell what I don't use and get out in the fresh air as much as possible.
It's sinking in now about the DFD and the changes I need to make and it finally feels its achievable and in my reach to do this.

  • Wow Fedupandskint. Just read your diary and was really inspired. :D

I wanted to do the C25K thing last year (funny to say that still) but never got round to it. I do like running though but have very little patience and want to run it overnight. Haha. Also re the wearing jewellery and makeup is definitely something I can relate to as I don't bother very often either.

Like you, I now need to make a doable repayment plan for the CC rather than thinking I can clear it by February (it'd be nice though).

Anyway, enough waffle from me. Well done on your planning, now I'm going to scurry off and find my C2K stuff if I can figure out where I saved it.
How long til pay day?

Good luck on the C25K plan - I started from scratch and struggled to run for 1 minute when I began. Its a really good programme and at times you might feel like you're getting nowhere but you do get there in the end and go from 0 to 5k or 3miles!

Not much achieved today from the list after 1st day back at work after the Christmas break

    Reading tomorrow
    Run in the evening
    Read some more

Food shopping spend of £11.28 today on things to keep me going until next week, I've got a load of food in the cupboards and freezer so its about time I ate it instead of buying more.

The assignment is due in soon I'll be keeping out of the shops at the weekend and try and get this done and submitted in time for the deadline

Bloomin boring week with all this on but at least I should be able to get some NSDs in and if I don't run tomorrow I'll do some yoga or shredding in the next couple of days

Can't say I've done much this week

How come I'm so tired this week at work and can't wait for the weekend, not that it will invovle much apart from saying, "I really must read that paper, article, book" and then try not to sit around not doing anything. Really must to not do this

Had to get an extension for the assignment as so behind - the next 3 weeks are going to be absolute mayhem and madness with 1 assignment due in, 1 exam, a new module starting and working full time. Good grief! Will I be looking forward to the end of the month - oh yes!

Anyway time I read an article or 2

    A milestone achieved today :D

In my bathroom I have 2 units with 3 baskets/shelves. Before I joined the original 100 day challenge of not buying your problem (mine beauty products galore) they were bursting full alongside everywhere else, of toilettries. Now I'm about to chuck the larger one out!

This has one shelf which is nearly empty of beauty products and the other 2 shelves have cleaning products on - have moved them into a new plastic unit and this one is going in the bin as its rusty. Now I can fit everything where its supposed to go and no longer look like I have products bulging out of absolutely everywhere

Very happy about this. It might sound mad to some people I know, but believe me, this is another massive step forward for me not spending every penny I have and don't have on beauty products

Well had a good Sunday but felt a bit guilty about not studying

Made 4 jars of pink grapefruit marmalade which is v.nice and came in at 59p a jar with only 3 ingredients - will make this again

Also made some lovely lemon squash 1L for £2.50 into 3 bottles - a tad on the sweet side but nice and fresh tasting compared to shop bought cordial and again only 3 ingredients and one of those is water!

Looking forward to some more cordial making in the spring and summer to try out some other recipes

Study wise - at last started some revision tonight for 2hrs, made a plan for the next 2 weeks to get the exam revised for and get this blooming assignment out of the way ready for the next one 6 weeks after all that!

Fingers crossed to do another 2 hours tomorrow evening

Forgot to mention the Grocery Challenge is going well - have until the 28th of Jan to go and £110 left from £150 budget - should make it

Also no clothing budget spends so far, felt pleased with this then remembered only 10 days into this challenge so need to forget about buying any clothes for this month!
