Water level has receded a little about half as much as this morning. Everything out of the way now ready for the next deluge.

What's next? Lots of packing this evening once I've tidied up a little downstairs and found out what I need to pack and then its off early in the morning with plenty of waterproofs

Did quite a lot of packing last night. Always difficult to decide what to take especially with this kind of weather. Although I should take clothes as if its April!

Pleased to report the water is only about 1-2 inches deep now in the celler and has receded a great deal over night. If it floods again while I'm away, everything is out of the way safely and what is ruined is already ruined (Christmas decs, bit of exercise equipment I was going to sell).

Looks like we're going away for the full week now which is good and I'm looking forward to lots of biking too.

    Back next week

Got up and did Shred today now at 9 days for L1 and only 1 more day left to get to the magical 10/10 completed and the move up to L2 - v.pleased

Dentist check up day today and x-ray - a very good result with no changes from the last x-ray 2years ago and told to just carry on with my current toothcare routine that's working well. Looks like I made the right decision to downbrand on the toothpaste last year from the most very expensive one to the one that is nearly always on offer somewhere for less than £1.50. All working very well indeed.

Looking forward to anice tea tonight of prawn laska again. Have made a raita to go with it today and tomorrow. Did cave into some snacks after the dentist today so once have taken the dog out for an hour I'll come back to do BFBM for an hour and burn off some off that excess

Work is not a very happy place at the moment due to some major changes taking and have taken place. Looking forward to an early finish on Friday and the weekend which I'm spending clearing the garden after its grown out of control this year with all the uni work that's been done instead of the usual garden. Something had to give after all!

Having said that, some gooseberries are ready and I'll see how many there are and either make some jam or make a crumble with them. Also planning to make some strawberry jam with the £1 strawbs around at the moment. Can make a lot for £3.

Back later with an update about what exercise I did get around to doing today!

Well I took the dog out for an hour and then came home and went out on the bike for 45mins to include some hills to improve fitness and breathing and general cycling. Went pretty well although slow uphill! At least I know what will improve if I continue.

Planning to go out again on Friday and do the same route and then try and longer one on Sunday.

If I feel up to it I'll do the last day of Shred L1 tomorrow before work if my legs don't ache too much from today's bike ride

Weigh in day today - 3lb gain since last time.

Not too upset about it as have been on holiday and clothes all fit fine. Will see how I get on over the next 2 weeks with WI and measuring as I stick to the meal plan and exercise.

Maybe its muscle weighing more than fat or maybe its just a gain, either way is fine

Didn't manage to get up in time to do Shred this morning and not sure if I will do it today, will see when I get in. Otherwise will be tomorrow to finish off L1

I am pleased as punch. I completed Level 1 of Shred this evening.

When I first bought this DVD I could barely manage it once let alone 10 times like now. How times change? How I change? Most of all, how it will be yours if you believe you can like I do.

Level 2 starts tomorrow happily with beginner exercises for 10 times over the next 2 weeks.

Popped some more Jillian DVDs into my basket to buy once I complete Shred and again once I complete 6W6P to continue the great work - really enjoying this and makes a great change from running.

Work has been rubbish this week. I amreally looking forward to the weekend.

Weekend plans are tomorrow home, walk Mr Dog and then bike ride 8 miles before lovely fish curry for tea. Saturday is housework, jam making and garden clearing. Sunday is more housework and garden clearing and long bike ride. All along with long dog walks and we're all happy!

    Yipee its the weekend!

Spoke today about my plans for cycling to work over the summer for one or 2 days a week. Now I have spoken about it, I made it real and planning to give it a go on Wed. As a practice, going out on Sunday for a trial run to see how I get on then plan what I need to take in with me, eg clothes, food, make up and toilettries and so on

Talking off which its exercise time which today is an 8mile bike ride in 45mins then back for a rather nice and easy fish curry and toffee meringue for afters!
