    Good day today.

Met a friend not seen for a while and had a good chat about life and she commented on how slim and toned I looked. Told her about Shred and how good it was!

Then found out I have passed my final assignment on the taught modules with the highest mark so far - a complete surprise and very happy about that! Good feedback too. Think I might have got a higher mark if I hadn't made some silly spelling mistakes. Not to worry about that though as I wasn't too sure what it was like when I submitted it!

Right then, Shred done again today and starting to get better now halfway through. 2 more days to go this week then a rest on Saturday when I go to visit mum and take over birthday cake for my brother along with his pressies

Weigh in day today - 3lbs gone! Yipee, didn't expect that and very smiley about it now :j

Decided yesterday as a treat for passing my last assignment to buy myself the next Jillian Michaels DVD for my ongoing collection to work through - Ripped in 30 and Killer Buns and Thighs DVD box set or £13.99. Felt a little guilty about this treat until I discovered today a colleague spends £85 pm on gym membership. Now feel very happy about it because for me the gym does not work and I know I can get fit and healthy without both a gym or the additional expense of one.

Arrives tomorrow and will have a little look then put it to one side until have finished Shred

Shred L2 day 6 later on after work

Loving all this upbeat time :D feeling like things are coming together and happening now :D

Woo hoo its the weekend! Phew!

Cake made for brother to take home tomorrow - hope its nice!

What else - DVD arrived today which is ace and will be having a look at that later on before the ceremony begins to start the Olympics off.

Completed Shred today making it 7/10 now for L2 and only 3 days left. Finally getting much stronger now and endurance improving. Looking forward to L3 next week.

Washing on the go to hang out for an hour, change bedding and paint nails while having a look at various car insurance quotes.

Have had a little revelation about things over the last few days - a stronger feeling than ever before. I've changed many aspects of my life over the last few years and even the last 2 while having this diary. It's time to change my job and look for a new one in a new area. Its time to put all the parts into practice in a new role. One that suits my life better, my thinking better and my learning to continue my development in the way I want it to.

Its taken me a long time to come to this decision and now I have I know its the right one

A lovely day with mum today - had a good look at the sale leftovers and found a tailored purple medium weight jacket for £15 reduced from £35 and a loevely navy top reduced to £9 from £27.50. Total cost £24 instead of £62.50. Navy top will look great with tailored trousers in winter and also cropped white jeans now. Both were a present from my mum for passing my final assignment which was a delightful treat

What else. Feeling mega tired from the 6 days in a row exercise and glad of a day off today. Tomorrow is mountain bike riding so hope to feel better and recovered tomorrow.

Cake went down well too and so did presents which was nice. Pud time now then off for an early night watching the Olympics

A great day out today mountain biking in the peaks. I felt a big improvement from the last time while on holiday. The shred is paying off and I can feel the core strengthening after all these years! The bike rides after work are also contributing to the improvement. I can feel the whole body being used off road mountain biking- upper body, shoulders, arms, core, legs.

    A lovely weekend.

Overdid it on the chocolate today though - whoops! Will be back on track tomorrow along with Shredding which is due to finish off L2 this week, long dog walk and clean a room after work as I pledge to not leave all the cleaning to next weekend.

    Tomorrow's jobs are:
    Clean LR
    Hoover
    Empty all bins
    Put out bins
    Shred day 8
    Longer dog walk
    Decide on ins quote

    Tuesday tasks:
    Clean BR
    Usual dog walks
    Bike ride
    Clean and degunk bike again

not much else to report apart from have eaten waaaaay too much chocolate over the last 2 days. Need to reign it back in again certainly

Itching away at midgebits from yesterday - 2 on my face, nice! 1 one my hand, 1 on my leg and 1 on my arm. Must be tasty to those midges in the early morning. Very large bumps now from those bits and very itchy!

Shred day 9 completed today leaving one more day to complete and level 2 is done!

This is the furthest I have ever been on this circuit routine and I can see myself completing it now - Level 3 left to do 10x and the whole thing is completed.

Love the fact I now realise more than ever - stick at it and you will get there. When I started this I couldn't do a press up, even a modified one. Now I can and can complete the routine - after about 8 x and now I've done 19x

Looking forward to starting Ripped in 30 in about 2 weeks time!

I tell everyone who asks about Shred and how well its going and 1 more person has decided to give it a go too along with another friend who has decided to give KB+T a go too. Ri30 next for me.

Lets see how Iook at the end. Its waist reduction challenge results day tomorrow which was to lose an inch from my waist in July. Measure tomorrow and update results. Lets see how I get on!

Hmmmm.....just debating whether to join the local council gym who have an offer to include the new swimming pool cost too

The 2 new exercises I want to include over the next few months are spin class and swimming once a week each

Now shall I go for it? Cost of swimming is £4.10, cost of class is £4.80. If I go once a week each the cost is £8.90 per week. Cost for 4 weeks is £35.60 pay as you go or £20.12 on offer making it £2.5 each.

Now the cost I can't argue with, need to think over whether I will go. I've enjoyed running, biking and circuit training at home. I've shown myself I can do this and stick to it. If I don't go currently, it doesn't cost anything. If I join and don't go, it costs. And now I think this after saying so many times gyms weren't for me!

Not too sure what to do now - will have a good think about it first then decide

Go me! I did it and finished Level 2 Shred 10 days. I can achieve it and I can see the finish line now - 10 more days to go and the whole thing is complete!

I am starting to believe what I can achieve at long last. Exercise and for life too. I never imagined I could achieve the exercises when I started, and with sticking at it I did it!

Mind you I never imagined a year ago when I aimed to be a size 12 that I would fit in size 8's as I did today when the M+S sale bargains arrived. Blimey what a shock that the skirt actually felt a bit big around the waist, the top is way too big, dress just fits and other skirt is perfect fit. More like their sizing is somewhat off!
